If we need another branch of forum to accommodate those spoiling the craik we are fucked as it won't work. I'd rather we just ridiculed anyone behaving like a dick and stuck them in a "sandpit" or "naughty corner" to play or argue with themselves for a while.

Need to let folk reflect on what's bad craik like a bairn mibbies. Some are strangely proud of a ban or even looking for one to prove a point.

Get yer thinking but we don't have a huge problem. Yer solution won't be one because folk intent on being provocative or insulting others opinions for whatever means  won't just go over to the other forum to do their thing.
Waste of time, won't solve anything.

Better just carrying on as before and those who came here for better craik need to stand up and post to keep the good craik going and challenge opinions they feel are off putting or loads more posters will dissappear.

Don't blame those singled out and rounded on for going as I've thought fuck this caper too at times, I'm here for completely different reasons from some and if yer taking abuse or called out wrongly for yer stance on the way you support yer team it's all back to front.

Let's bring it back to what it's been and make the place what it was.

Let's not over react.

No from me, been a longtime reader on here and a new subforum isn't going to stop threads being turned into anti Thompson threads.

People will always disagree on forums, that's the whole point, to discuss/debate opposing views, would be boring if we all got along.

Emotions have been high between the factions for a while now, but I think there just needs to be a bit of maturity on both sides and keep threads on topic, that's the ideal scenario to me rather than a new subforum.

In theory it's a good idea but seeing as a innocent topic about a new kit or the U/20's can turn into a fight about Thompson I cannot see how it would change anything.

The idea, as I see it, is that it should keep threads going off topic.

In practice while I doubt it would 100% it should cut down the number of times it happens - maybe if posters are aware of the sub-forum they might think twice before posting.

Yeah keeping threads on topic is probably a nightmare of an overhead to do but would be good if the latest game thread isnt hijacked by anti ST stuff (and i have been guilty of doing it too to be fair) and the Anti ST thread being hijacked by meaningless discussions on 4231

I find the sniping somewhat entertaining to be honest.  You're not go8ng to get away from it.

If folk are leaving for seeing some negativity or whatever, need thicker skin.  Personally think people can't handle the criticism directed at the club.
