Another great Dundee word came fae about the mid 80s was 'dingys'.. As in good ain...
started fae a few fae the hulltoon and kirkton branch of town centre scallywags who'd say 'rubber ear' to anything they didn't agree with or didn't want to hear..that morphed into 'rubberee' or 'rubber dingys'... Then just dingys

'bowfin' as in this does not taste very nice at all. It can also be applied to smells as well; as in "Huntedbyafreak just farted in the Balmore and it smells pure bowfin."
