Its cool though D, 'fans' thousands of miles away think we're all over reacting and just moaning bastards with nothing constructive to offer.

To be honest ive been getting called that for over 2 years, not just from Canadians etc.

What happens when we need more and cant meet the repayments? Whos next to getthe cheque book out?

We really need to get promoted which i cant see to help us we are fucked.

The section of the Strategic Report in the accounts headed Future Development /Going Concern states that "the board expects to report cost reductions in the region of £1.5m [in the next annual report].

If (and it's a big if) they manage that reduction they might just manage to keep heads above water - imo reduced income will force them to borrow again unless there's a gain on player registrations

Insolvency is a distinct possibility but is not a certainty

Re: Very worrying times...

Think Canadian Arab is accused of saying things he's not said. If you want to have a message board where opinions are discussed then take less offense at folk being  objective and fair minded without rounding on them and making up shit.

Can't see anyone saying the club is being run well or everything is all right or ST & Co are doing a good job etc. or that folk concerned are moaning bastards.

If you chase away those looking to discuss facts in a pro active & constructive manner you're left with nothing but a bitching board full of cliques who go around in circles with less effect.
The reason new groups have been formed with names like Foundation and Fans United is to try to move forward in a constructive & united manner I think?

We are all United fans and want the same. We can all give and take a bit of abuse but mind being accused of having an unfounded /incorrect or made up stance against yer team is way worse than being the worst kind of absolute cunt, dick or wanker and that goes for all involved.

SHEDRULE!

Agree, the reduced income will almost certainly mean we need more investment to avoid insolvency problems.  I say investment, because I can't see more loans being possible with nothing to secure them against.

Only saving thing will be A Rob transfer if that is going ahead.  Even though the problem is just getting pushed back a year at best.

Nope, this is lies, hes just had a go at me for 'not being constructive' when a photo was posted of the league cup semi final against Aberdeen where ive said 'before ST ruined the club' thats a fact, its no opinion, we were doing away fine till we sold the tim two and look at us now. Yet im not being constructive and to quote him,  'I find these incessant, unnecessary digs to be more wearing than whatever ST is doing, tbh'  so basically me saying this is worse than anything ST has done/doing??? seriously!!!!

No ones rounding on anyone, no ones making up shit, but dont let that stop you have another rant where you go way off track as per...

Re: Very worrying times...

Not long ago before certain elements arrived from elsewhere this was a pleasant and harmonious site. Now there is a distinct atmosphere of antagonism bubbling away beneath the surface. Please try  to control yourselves, there's no need for  sniping and sabre-rattling,  we're all United supporters who want nothing more than to see our team progress.

Re: Very worrying times...

Agree the buck stops with him and its under his watch that the clubs has fallen apart but really wish people would stop blaming our downfall on Amo & GMS leaving.
It's more the fact that we sold the whole group that could have brought us success in the space of about 18 months and thats what really ruined us.
Losing GMS, Amo, Gauld, Robbo & Shifty - they were irreplaceable for a club like ours. We'd have had to spend literally millions on replacing them like for like. We didn't have that cash and gambled on Telfer, Connolly etc being ready for action. They weren't. By the time Jackie etc realised that, it was too late.

I wasn't banned from Mad. Why would I be? I found this site instead and preferred the calmer atmosphere. Still do, hence my post previous to this one....

Re: Very worrying times...

Don't really mean to get involved and it's not often I'll say this but I largely agree with Leeds. I was a madder and left because of all the nonsense on mad. I don't believe I was alone in this. Now people are leaving this site because of similar issues.

Can we have a tek 2 - one for the moderates?

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not saying anybody should leave this site - just keep in mind why people visit this site as opposed to mad. It's  (in my opinion) a less confrontational site 😃

Re: Very worrying times...

Regarding the posting dispute here (if it is a dispute): I reckon we understand where people are on the issue of ST and the board, most fans would like to see 'what happens next?' or 'what proposals are there?' rather than fans having digs at one and other.

Regarding the topic "Very worrying times..." it looks to me that our board are using the same tactic as our football authorities (in connection to their mismanagement of the Sevco issues), or Newcastle/WHU (with more to come in connection with fraud allegations), in fact folk who get involved with football seem to have a penchant for using the policy of kicking the can down the road until a solution appears or they are caught out.

Ignore it and it might go away.

Exactly how I see it, Tangy. Although I didn't know that folk were leaving here too (though I did feel there was a danger of it)  That is sad, and in a way pretty disrespectfuI of TEK who puts in a lot of work to keep Tekel Towers running.
