Was at least a bit more like a competitive game. Couple of decent finishes too.

Worst refereeing performance I've ever seen. Should have gave a foul for our first goal then spends the rest of the game trying to make it up to them. Small in the scheme of things but every throwing their left back took a minimum of 10 yards, usually more. More worrying, their number 6 led with his elbow on every jump, twice catching mikkelsen, 2nd needing stitches. No booking but spittal gets booked on 24minutes for taking too long on a throw 😂😂
Harsh sub for allardice, thought willo was poorer than him and kept tackling his own players. Kuate obviously not used to that phenomenon as he had the audacity to win the ball back off flood

Terrible decision for first goal! Good win though

I thought we deserved the points today referee was awful but for both sides Mckenzie should have seen red just after half time. Kuate improved the midfield when he game on as he added some well needed aggression. For the 50 or so "suporters" who walked out when st mirren equalised Spittal put a 20 yarder into the bottom corner

Big win that.
Unfortunately Falkirk winning means 2nd still not in our hands.
It appears there was an even more dodgy referee in charge of the game at East End Park.Â
A somersault equals a penalty these days.Â

1st goal - clash we Big Mick and Midden player. Big Mick plays on and scores. Glad the Ref didna stop proceedings, as is the usual when we're that situation. Didna go doon too well with the Midden supporters or players (1 got Yellowed for his protests)
1st half was on the whole, apart from our goal, phuckin dire. There was a 15 minute period where we never had the ball in their half. Midden scored their equalizer direct from their 1st set piece of the game.
2nd half for the 1st 7 minutes looked dire, then for the rest of the 2nd half we looked the better side.
Midden pass-back to their keeper who handles the ball. Ref awards us free-kick in their box. Flood taps the ba to Tony who smashes it thru the wall into the net.
Their 2nd is bizarre. Midden player hits the ba right into Edges pus, then we fail to clear, and in it goes.
3rd comes from a good pass from Kuate. Ball goes to Willo I think, canna remember, then makes it's way to Spittal who wallops it in.
Ref seemed to have a time delay on his whistle, coz every time there was a foul, 5 or 6 seconds would pass before you heard it. Let too many head knocks go.
Great result. Just a pity tge Falkirk result didna go in our favour.

As poor as our passing was today from everyone (until Kuate came on, he actually found some people with passes as well as getting in Durnan and Flood's road a lot) our players actually looked like they gave a fuck today and the work rate was excellent. Maybe the penny is finally starting to drop.
Exciting ending though. Second half was actually a decent game. That's twice in a month we have beaten the team Brendan Rogers said were the best team he's faced in Scotland.
Solid rather than good performance but I'll take any win though.
Murdoch getting better and better and I thought that Robson stuck at it despite some real physical pressure.
Usual worries - our first two goals were rhe result of a refereeing error and a goalkeeping error rather than good play by us.
Pleased we stuck at it to the end though - good mentality that might pay dividends over the last few games.

Robson was getting wired in a lot more and trying to make sure of his clearances, something that has been a probelm with him in recent weeks where he has been failing to clear his lines or succumbing to physical presure and putting us under pressure. However, he was diving in a bit and was tunred easily a couple of times and rashly went into a challenge which cost us the free-kick for their first goal. Otherwise though, I though he had his best game for us for a while. He was trying to get forward a bit more too.

Agreed, Robson's best game for ages.
I thought on the second half showing we probably just deserved to sneak it, the ref was appalling for both teams.

Left back is a massive problem Robson and Dixon are both absolutely horrendous

Agree wi this. Think Robson has been touted as better than he actually is due to how poor Dixon has been since he returned to the club, Had hoped the signing of Mikkelsen would prove to be a turning point for chances created by our full backs, both right backs and left backs. Not much has changed though, don't know whether that is due to tactical reasons or what.

Just got round to watching the goals from sat as was away all weekend.
Our first very good from Mikkelson again ill say id like us to get him signed.
Saints first another ball swung in that meets an opposition player and ends up in the net..how manys that been?
Our second good power in shot
Saints second murdoch ripped apart poor
Our 3rd well placed from blair from what was a shot from Kuata.
Did we deserve the win in the end?

I thought a draw was fair.Â
Stealing 3 points was absolutely smashing.Â
Could give us the platform to go and win our next 2 and hope falkirk drop points!Â
