Buyout on the horizon?

According to the tele, ST is over in the states again to seek further investments with the possibility of selling some of his shares within the club.

Hope that we can find a new owner/owners that can run the club properly and turn our fortunes around.

Let us hope that   the Yanks involved at Dens don't make him an offer that he can't refuse, take over United, then decide that a merger between the two clubs would be more beneficial to them.

From the tele article...

"the Tele understands any further cash secured would not be in exchange for a controlling interest in the club."

So no control lost and hard to see why anyone would want a minority shareholding

TIme will tell mate, you know what DFC thompsons are like with their "news". Hope someone and not they yanks across the road can buy some of his shares for a controlling stake in the club.

Faf. Thompsons seeking investment in the usa means hes in his holiday home in Florida.
