Re: Development League 2016/2017 Season

Gubbed 0-6 by Celtic who had no over-age players stripped.

We played a 'trialist'.No idea whom as yet (though i am assuming it's Templeton).

Carab might fill us in later.

Couldn't manage to the game today tek, but as far as I know only trialist was Wato. Just a young goalkeeper as well, as most young boys will be in squad tomorrow.

Oh was it mate?Is Templeton even still training with us?

Aye,i didn't notice the Keepers name.Bell or Zwick must be injured if Long wasn't risked.

Re: Development League 2016/2017 Season

Looked like a very young side today, squad at that level is looking very stretched, just like 1st team level.

Re: Development League 2016/2017 Season

A lot of the lads out on loan like Murrell etc aren't even getting regular games.

Re: Development League 2016/2017 Season

You'd think the fringe players would be bursting to take a game to put the manager to make changes given the result on Saturday. Too many just happy to be picking up a wage and dicking about St. Andrews four days a week. Pampered pussies

on the ropes for most of the game then caught with a sucker punch just before half time. Sounds like they threw the towel in .

Not sure it happened like this. From the official:

"Four minutes later came the controversial goal that decided the outcome.

Zwick was at full stretch as he collected a Tony Ralston cross from the left and, as he fell, the stand-side assistant ruled the ball had crossed the line.

So enraged was United coach Dave Bowman with the decision, his protestations resulted in him being sent to the stand."

Too much commotion
