Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

Willo Flood suspended.

Which means McKinnon gets his chance to shoehorn Toshney right back into midfield

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

Badly need to get the lh side sorted - poor defensively and going forward.

Might be an idea to move Spittal to left mid?

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

Robson was really poor last night again. He's got a lot to learn. Luckily for him Dixon is actually worse. New left back would be first on my shopping list next season.

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

Why not try Spittal Left Back?

He actually made his debut for Utd playing left back at Easter Road in a friendly (the day before Andy Robertson was sold to Hull) and was solid.

youd have a left back before a winger or a creative midfielder or a striker? serious?

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

I actually forgot Robson was playing until late on in the second half. Never saw him in the Pars half at all. I know he's a defender first and foremost but he needs to be on the front foot more. Probably more to do with McKinnon than the lad himself though.

I'd go similar, but keep Murdoch in the back 3.  Not sure who I'd bring on for Flood beside Allardice.  Toshney , Telfer or Kuate?  Prob Telfer.

We'll play 442 tho.

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

I thought Allardice was a passenger on Tuesday. Did well v Falkirk but looked hesitant against the Pars. Not having a go at him, it must be tough for a young lad coming in to this team. I'd maybe throw Kuate in the middle alongside Toshney.

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

Bell
Murdoch Durnan edge Dixon
Kuate toshney
Spittal andrue Murray
Mikkelsen

I thought when we moved andrue more central and pushed Murray out left we looked a lot better on Tuesday

Re: Ayr utd v dundee utd

I don't think Raymond will start Kuate and Toshney together, but you never know.

Referee tomorrow is Crawford Allan, who has covered 14 Dundee United league matches in his career. We have a win record of 'one' when he is in charge of our matches, stretching back 10 years. The only game we've won with him in the middle is four years ago at Inverness (last minute GMS goal, or our record would have been 'zero wins' in 14).

He's never refereed a Dundee victory! It might be the city he hates.
