Chance to (at the very least) cement 4th spot if we can defeat a team we have held the Indian sign over this season.
I imagine the starting XI will be the same as Saturday.
We need put a run of wins together now if 2nd is going to happen. ...starting Tuesday.
Lose this and it gives Queens a sniff of blood.

If we start with the same 11 players it has to be in a 352 to get Andreu back central.
It's either that or stick with 442 but swap Murray and Andreu round.
To go with the same 11 in the same positions as Saturday would be very poor management.

Played 442 with Spittal right, Andreu left and Allardice and Flood in centre of midfield. Complete waste of Andreu having him wide, he needs to be central.

Flood used to play on the right with Man City

Team I would line up with:
Bell
Murdoch Durnan Edge Robson
Kuate Allardice
Coote Andreu Mikkelson Murray
Think flood needs a rest, Kaute looks a player from what I've seen of him, a bit of quality in that midfield and Allerdice had a good debut.
Coote and Murray out wide and get Andreu as far up the pitch as possible to support Big Mik.
Same starting XI as Saturday
No great, but I'll take the 1-0 lead

Well it didn't sound pretty but that's a pretty huge 3 points.
upto 3rd and just a point behind Falkirk now.

It wasn't, but as you say, three points.
Hanging on at the end yet again, in part due to poor finishing and in part to nerves and finally in part to Ray's bizarre tactics/substitutions

I'm the end a comfortable victory, tam up front good again, willo excellent for the first time in a long time, left back for me is a major major problem Robson and Dixon both poor, Murdoch definitely a defensive improvement to what we have had not so great going forward though, spittal second half was good when he was actually taking chances rather than pussy footing it about playing it back every time he gets the ball improvement, good 3 points and hopefully st mirren do us a favour on Saturday!

Don't really agree with the "hanging on at the end" comment. Pars never came close to scoring in the 2nd half. Actually thought Utd were unlucky not to get a 2nd goal.
Comfortable win and big 3 points for Utd.

No feelin too weel jist noo so I'll no post my usual rant.
No a great game, but a very good result. IMO Dunfermline got stuck in more than we did, and got away we it. esp. their 1st half throw-in just in their ane half, which they took 25 yaerds in oor half. Phuckin minter for Gollum. Crowds opinion was that he let a few fouls go. Typical chunt.
We lost possession a number of times, when we passed back to Cammy, so when he played the ba oot, it was 50-50, and we inevitably lost oot.
Similar gehm to Saturday, but if I'm honest, I actually thought that Dunfermline looked better than Falkirk, on the day.
Highlights. Goal and move by Murray and Big Mick. Tony's whack off the woodwork. Spittals attempt. Murdos 70-yard run.
Pity we hudna lost that goal on Setirday.

similar to Saturday not the greatest game. We were the better team no doubt about that. On to Ayr

I hope the late Falkirk equaliser doesn't kill us at the end of the season!!
An ugly win tonight for sure but I'd take that until the season is over

VDVs miss at the end unacceptable. At least it did not cost us.

Was put on a plate for him

Vdv miss was fucking horrid
Poor game overall and lucky it was against a very poor dinfermline.
Need to be better on sat as ayr will be up for it imo.
Very similar game to Saturday, even hitting the post at 1-0 up. A better team than Dunfermline probably would have scored at least one.
Good to finally get a clean sheet though. We'll need to defend a lot if and when we get to the play-offs.
A couple of dodgy results for Morton recently. Maybe they are running out of steam at the wrong time? (wishful thinking)
