Ian McCall on radio Scotland

Just said Stuart Armstrong can be as good as ronaldo lol now I like Armstrong I think he's a very decent player but I think McCall should be drug tested for even suggesting that

Re: Ian McCall on radio Scotland

I'll be honest, at one point I thought McCall was man to steer united to success, we beat oldco comfortably at tannnadice and then won 3 games in a week towards the end of his first season

ffs how wrong was i?

Re: Ian McCall on radio Scotland

I was listening to this.  Fuck me, Scotland win against a shitty Slovenia side and these guys are going on about how we have a great chance to beat England and that Armstrong and Tierney are going to be world class.

Surely you are thinking of Chisholm, kiwi?

McCall ('no bullshit') was an imposter, a guy I never wanted near the club. But that was based on local knowledge.

Re: Ian McCall on radio Scotland

sadly not. Went to every game during the Alex Smith then Hegarty days, and then some tough times when McCall took over. I went to a few supporters functions where McCall talked a good game.

There was a spell where we had a settled back four, and Charlie Miller found some form, and I thought we had turned a corner after a long unbeaten run at home and some good wins. Turns out it was a false dawn, the next season was a nightmare, and McCall turned from talking a good game to a complete minter.
