1-3 Utd. Hoping for a change in shape and tactics with Fraser oot we might go more direct. Felt we would loose to StMirren and win this ain by a few.
We have to win and turn the decline around.

Laughing at the the amount of people saying Fraser is the reason we don't play 4-4-2. I think you'll find Andreu is the reason we don't play it I'm afraid.

Yes, but Andreu can play in a 2 up front and that's where I'd play him and use Murrays pace wide.
It's not going to happen tho

Andreu has played CAM at every team he has been at.
I think mckinnons tactical tombola put him up front for us once. It lasted for 45mins before reverting.
How do you assume he can play in a 2 up front when his whole career has been spent in midfield?

He has played just off a main striker plenty of times in his career. We have no natural width, the main reason we don't play 442, so I'd try and create some with the little pace we do have, Murray. There's nothing wrong with trying something a little different when the same thing continuously isn't working.

And this. He's a number 10, and can't really play anywhere else. You could put him up front in a pairing, but he'll naturally drift into deeper positions and we'll still be left with one up front. We play 4-2-3-1 to suit him. Unfortunately, other teams have cottoned on to this. The other players don't suit the system either.
Personally, I'd play 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 if everyone was fit.

99% of pairings up front have the main striker and the 2nd striker who plays just off, that little bit deeper, it's where the whole 'no 10' thing came from.
I'm suggesting pushing him 5/10 yards from where he's been playing (something he's done plenty times before in his career) up the park to offer more support to Mikkelsen and drag the whole team forward, not sticking him in at CH and asking him to dominate in the air.

He really hasn't done it a number of times though. He describes his own style as similar to fabregas. He's a creative midfielder that scores goals from deep.
Not knocking your suggestion but I'd be happy to see if Murray can form a partnership with mikkelsen instead. He did with ofere to a degree and in the 5 minutes he was on the field with mikkelsen against Morton he had a 1on1 from a mikkelsen knock down.

Tony Andreu can't and won't be play right up top as a 2 he will Always play off a main strikers aslong as he is here so will never be a straight 4-4-2, and Simon Murray cannot play left midfield he doesn't have the brain for it both on and off the ball. Seen some shocking comments aboot the lad fraser folk saying their 'happy' aboot his injury? Fair enough he hasn't been great last 2 gems but he's been better than most the full season.
Anywiy 3-1 the Shed, Andreu m, Micklesson & Nicholls
