An awful awful Manager who is out of his depth.

I would rather have given Gordon Young a chance or even kept fucking Mixu and spent the hundreds of thousands of ensuing compo on Mixu/Young/McKinnon on strengthening the team.

One fuck-up after another.

The buck for this gross mismanagement stops with one man and regardless of whether or not he sells-up or not anytime soon he should be forced to step down in his role as Chairman.

He simply can't be trusted to make the big day to day decisions that is required of a a Dundee United Chairman.

Out of his depth... in the Scottish championship ffs. What a state of affairs eh.

Re: Thoughts on McKinnon?

I blame jim spence. It was his idea to bring him to the club. It was he who got the deal sorted.  Well thats what he told the fed lads at numerous meetings anyway.

Re: Thoughts on McKinnon?

I made a post on here possibly september time regarding rays management and the way we had been playing since he came in that it was similar to what we had witnessed under jmac and mixu. At that point i didnt think it would get worse it actually got slightly better but during that unbeaten run we went on myself and other on here and elsewhere questioned ray and the way we had been playing in thise games and got moaned at. Truth be told we got very fucking lucky in alot of those games and just aswel we did or we would have been well down the table.
Im very concerned at this point.

Ayr away. They battered us but couldnt score. Sometimes you take that and say yeah we were shite but a wins a win. Problem was though it wasnt just ayr away.

Spot on, win courtesy of Tope's magnificent solo goal......even that was a joke completely lost the ball then got laid on a plate from their number 2 with a pass back which was only about 40 yards short !

Couldn't believe some of the results , we were lucky as feck game after game.

Re: Thoughts on McKinnon?

Yes T&B we were lucky, but most dismissed that as hard fighting and battling which they would have you belive that this league needs and whats required to get out of this league. IMO what this league needs and the way out of it is quick creative attacking players and youve cracked it.

Spot on. Rays team got a number of breaks early on (including the famous Cammy Bell hatrick of saves). When  the breaks ran out so did United's form. Ray was clueless to spot that he had been fortunate early doors and doesn't seem to have the managerial nous to turn things round.
