Change

There is absolutely fucking no chance under the current squad, manager, boardroom we are going up.

I genuinely dont give a fuck if folk want to protest during a game.  It cant get any fucking worse on the park.  If things dont change at boardroom level, it's likely to get a whole lot fucking worse off the park.

It's hopeless, if only I had a few million bob.

Results like that and others recently will be a better recruitment tool for Fans United than anything they might say.

Maybe so Pat.  Not sure what theyre ultimately going to do, obviously I'm wathcing, reading, listening from afar but if it's protests during games, before games or after games I really dont care at this point.  Status quo is absolutely dire.

Re: Change

The worst about it is, the budget will be much, much less next season. We have won 1 game in 2017.  It's not hard to work out what happens next.  It's all so fukin predictable, sadly.

Because that's what the fans have been saying huh?

What do you think being sarcastic and nippy towards other Arabs achieves exactly?

Seems to be the only way you FU boys can communicate.

Re: Change

Steven Thompson has been an ongoing problem ever since he hired Jackie for the fire sale. There is no new issue re Thompson other than he is still here - but fans still choose to make him the main focus of attention

I would argue that the current and most pressing problem we have is Ray. Since Christmas he has won 1 League game and has 6 points out of a possible 27. This is relegation form. Ray doesn't seem to know what his best side is, what players best positions are, how to get the best from the players, how to defend, how to attack. His signings (Bell, Edje & Andreu apart) have not lit up the heather. He doesn't seem to have specific game plans or the ability to spot that tactics are not working or the ability to change tactics for the better. We've been gubbed by all the likely play off contenders as well as the bottom team in the league now. As a top 6 spender we have gone out of cups to Morton and Ross Co and does anyone expect us to win the Irn Bu cup.

Ray is clearly out of his depth and has been struggling for quite some time now. I suggested in the transfer window that rather than players Ray needed to get another coach/mentor/football consultant in to help him with his short-comings. Unless the "Ray" problem is addressed we might find that the 1 win in 9 ratio continues and we don't even make the play-offs and struggle at the bottom end of the table next season. Meanwhile Ray is driving fans and their much needed money away. There is only so much of this boring, unsuccessful garbage fans can stomach and I suspect Ray has already exceeded many fans tolerance levels.

Ray (league) win rate up to Christmas was 61%, after Christmas 11% (ELEVEN PER CENT) and overall 44% - all in a league which doesn't include the Glasgow twins, Aberdeen or Hearts.

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

Re: Change

Am I the only person who thinks the financial issues at the club are having a massive impact on results on the park.  I don't believe the timing of all that went on in the Jan window or lack of, or the fact that the club was on its knees begging for money has gone unnoticed by the players.  If it has it certainly is a remarkable change in results (and fight and desire shown) in the same time period.

We can blame Ray all we want, and right now he doesn't look good, but there is no way he is the biggest problem right now.

I disagree, hes picking the team, its his tactics, its his formation and the players he signed, was his descision to release players and sign shite like Nichols, Ray is the reason we are not performing, not off field issues with our cunt of a Chairman

Re: Change

Yeah up to January you could cut him some slack but well and truly been found out. Another pathetic January and here we are again.

If you're rightly laying this at McKinnon door, let's not forget the cunt who fucking hired him.

Change required at all levels, all the way through the fucking playing staff as well. Spineless bastards.

Re: Change

Re: Change

Watched that game today on st.mirrens channel . Cammy Smith ran us ragged, set up there third goal. Someone will have to explain that one to me. He's not good enough for our squad? We're taking in college players on trial from the US??? It'd be one thing if  the lad had done anything at that level but had he fuck.  Recruitment clearly a fking shambles, reading that the youth setup no longer ranked high enough for some daft development league the sfa is starting and we are losing what? 50k a fucking week having to pay off cunts like that weasel bastard McNamara (he ever sets foot in Dundee again I hope someone leathers him).

Don't even know what my point is anymore. Just sick I suppose.

Do you think he has really backed him though? The standard of player he signed in january proves , imo, he hasnt,  basically because we have no money to back him. We had to get a loan to get us through the season so where we were getting the money to sign the quality players we need god only knows.

Re: Change

I don't think he has been backed properly, scrambling around for players on 1 year deals.  Just my opinion the standard has been shite that's for sure, don't get the love in with Cammy Smith he had one good game generally done nothing thereafter.    What the answer is feck knows, club is a shambles and its bloody hard work just to go to a match these days.

I think some of them have, yes, perhaps even sub-consciously, and to me it's happened since the money issues became very real again, coincidence? The players knew about the problems before we did after all.
