Re: Is this the best time to protest?

Yes, but not because of tv coverage, because it's now and it can't be left any longer.

"the impact is maximised." The rest of Scottish football wont give a tomtit about utds boardroom worries.

Poor timing IMO and little or no attempt to get broad support from the fans.

Divisive

Neither will ST about the protest if he is on holiday as Affshore states on Mad.

Re: Is this the best time to protest?

No it's not a good time to protest.

After the match?Fair enough.

But during it?Not for me.

Not tomorrow night anyway.

Maybe we should wait until we're in Administration before we protest

Re: Is this the best time to protest?

Plenty other clubs support would have protested long before it's got to this point. When you do a chronology on the major fuck ups over the last 3 years... it's absolutley brutal.

As good a time as any. I think it's overstated in terms of these things impacted what's happening on the park.

What good can come from this tbh, what if Thompson does want out after all this who will buy the club? In the summer when we need new players why should Thompson put money in. To a club he doesn't want anymore?? Of course thompson has fucked up loads but just hope this doesn't backfire on us

This is exactly the sort of response that alienates . Sarcastic, condescending and spoiling for a fight. If this is the representative of Fans United then it's doomed to failure.

I actually cannot believe we still have Fans that think Thompson puts money in.  It's beyond belief.

Re: Is this the best time to protest?

His money is in and until someone else with very deep pockets and a willing to lose their money buys in we're stuck with him.

And protests.....think he's pretty thick skinned and doesn't seem to bother with what's been said and done so far.

Protests won't change but someone with a wish to lose loads of money might.

Its not his money though its in ffs!

We've had to get another loan to keep us going to the end of the season ( A direct quote from a board member)

"doesn't seem to bother him? He's getting very tired of it. ( again another quote from another board member)

Seeing as administration is very much on the horizon the timing is now

Anybody who seriously thinks that we will affect the players are kidding themselves on and looking for an excuse to have a go at us.
The players are aware of tonight's events and know its no reflection on them.

Fans United

We would like to publish our aim is NEVER to detract from what Ray and the team are doing but the need to do something so publicly as of tonight's game is a must.
The plight of the club needs to be made public so that fellow fans know what's going on as the club have stopped communicating with the supporters since Jan 2015.
We are genuine United supporters that are trying to be pro-active before it's too late.
We back the team 100% wholeheartedly and wish Ray and lads all the best for tonight.

Back the team- not the regime!
