Emergency loan 2

Hibs taking effy ambrose apparently.

Surely throwing money away? They've already won the league!

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Not with Efe at the heart of their defence they haven't - guaranteed at least one major howler per game

Re: Emergency loan 2

They're also on the verge of completing a deal for Brian McLean.
Mclean and ambrose at centre half?
Game on.

On another note, with the amount of boys on Celtics books, why aren't we looking to get someone on an emergency loan? Purely down to not having money or does ray genuinely think the squad is good enough?

Someone was saying on here a few days ago(think it was Tangerine_Ultra) that at a recent q+a McKinnon said he had someone lined-up to come in on emergency loan but was holding off so he could sign them to play in the play-off's.

Maximum emergency loan is 93 days.

93 days from now is May 31st.

The Premiership Final legs are 25th and 28th of May.

In other words,forget it.

We are signing no-one on loan.

The only loans the club are interested in are financial.

Let's be honest here the standard of player we can realistically get, 1 player coming in now ain't gonna make a difference.  If we could have got a Ciftci or GMS at the start of Jan when we were in with a shout then that would have been worth it, but we clearly couldn't afford someone of that quality.  Getting in a Boulding or Ofere standard now would be a waste of time and money.

Re: Emergency loan 2

judging by what we've seen of mikkelsen, I think Ofere would be an upgrade.
