ive seen quite a few people describe it as a bit old firm like to look down on the tournament. however rangers 2012 had over 45k fans at last years final if any set of fans based on trophy wins could look down on the tournament it was them.
if you dont want to go fair enough no need to look for excuses about the merit of the tournamentEr..... are you re-writing history here to suit your excuses?
its a new club Pat we all no that but its the same set of zombies.
no excuses from me I will be attending not my preffered venue or kick off time or my favourite tournament but I will be there to back the terrors

As is often the case with most matches for me these days, I tend to be available to attend, I can afford to attend and have my own car. These days, I often make the decision on the morning of the fixture, sometimes I've left the decision right up until 2pm. So, on the day of the final, I'll see what else I'm doing, see who else is going from my neck of the woods, see if I've got anything better to do and see what I feel like. Once upon a time my attendance was automatic, now it tends to be if I can be bothered.

If I was able I'd be there. If physically possible I would attend every gemme that I could. Alas, the combination of distance and ill health goes against me. But at least I will watch it on Alba, even though I cannot stand the Gaelic commentary.

Highly unlikely I will go, home games at the moment are a chore.

I probably will go for a day out, common sense will make the game a Saturday.
If the Taffs make it it shouldn't matter where in Scotland it will be played as they have to travel anyway, ideally McDiarmid would be best as it will mostly be United fans in attendance.
If it is to be St Midden East End park would be good as that would roughly be halfway between both clubs.
Knowing the West coast bias it will be the shithole that is Fir Park.
I'd rather do a crash course in Gaelic to understand WTF they are talking about on ALBA than go to Fir Park, a local boozer will benefit from my toys being launched and not going to that shithole.

I've had it rammed down my throat just how far the club have fallen every week watching Dumbarton, Morton, Raith etc each week. I'd rather not attend the final of a cup reserved only for lower league opposition. It just doesn't appeal to me.
Certainly not travelling half way across the country, to a shitehole of a ground for a dinnertime kick off and paying £20 for the fucking privelege.
I'll reserve that for league duty.
No thanks.
