I'm sure it can only be held at a championship grounds

toss for home venue no point in both sets of fans travelling
I'm pretty sure it will be at The Fermer's Field.

Wembley
McDairmid, but that's probably not "fair" on St. Mirren.
Broadwood would probably be sufficient

Think one or two have been held at Livi's ground.

Surely the most logical place would be Saitama Stadium.
More often than not recently it's been in Perth & when it's not it's because there are two west coast clubs in the final or when The Rangers were in it & they had to use a bigger ground like Hampden last year & Easter Rd 3 years ago.
I'm just so disappointed it's not TNS we're playing, St Mirren getting thro has halved the freshness factor. We now have to play The Paisley Saints 3 times in 5 weeks. Fair game to them tho, they've put out Hibs & now the fancied team from the Welsh league .

Hoping a stadium with 10-12000 capacity, preferably McDairmid so wee have best support possible. No St home games from 11th March until 5th of April.

I'd bet there would be a bigger gate!
Could you top 6,000?

East End Park I think.

East End park would be ideal, only thing that would be a downside would be it is possibly too large a capacity.

East End Park holds 11,500. Surely both teams can pull 5750 each for a cup final???

Sheikhutahaboot!
Apart from The New Rangers two Challenge Cup final appearances in the last 3 years there has only twice been a 5-figure crowd and that was in the early 90s. Our only appearance 21 years ago v Stenny at McDiarmid attracted less than 8,000.

I thought EEP was bigger than that, that sounds about right.
There will be loads of daft wummin wanting to go thinking it will be straw-hats and trumpets and another day on Bacardi like proper finals so United may surprise with the tickets requested/sold.
I can’t see any reason why this has not been decided yet.
Semi-finalists were determined on Nov 13th.
The weekend of the final has been set since the start of the season.
Possible venues and relevant fixtures there, also known since at latest August.
There were only the following possible outcomes;
Utd – St Mirren
Utd – TNS
QoS – St Mirren
Qos – TNS
Is it too much to ask for the authorities to have provisional arrangements made? The answer is obviously, yes.
