And did you call him a puppet to his face? Good you met him though - let's hope it's constructive.
So - you and I don't know what was said between ict and united. I choose to listen to what an office bearer of the club says and you've rubbished him - each to their own, bud.
Nope, that would be disrespectful to puppets.
Your last bit I'm just dumbfounded. Crack on with yer new mate though. You remind me of foo kin twat last year after his meeting with southern. Starry eyed .

Ah so that's why twat gave me the big report on what Southern does lol

I'd read that situation as ICT wanting to agree compensation with United before allowing them official permission to speak to Hughes. That makes sense. So if they knew they didn't want to pay that figure they could just walk away before they even speak to him.
But if the boy is suggesting that United had to pay two compensation figures - one to speak to a guy (which no doubt they had done with his agent through back channels anyway) and then one to agree compensation for him leaving - then he's either a fool or someone who thinks he's talking to fools.
It's nonsense.

If starry eyed = having a law degree and a broad understanding of correct business procedures then I'm guilty as charged. I'm guilty too of not allowing emotion and rage to cloud my judgement and twist comments being made. I'm also guilty as charged of having an open mind as to how monumentally difficult it must be to run a provincial Scottish futba club with under 5,000 season tickets when supporter expectation is to be winning major cups and being in Europe. This being when there are 5 teams bigger than us where their season ticket base is over 30,000 x2, 14,000, 12,000 and 10,000 which odds wise makes it almost impossible/highly unlikely. A glance across and up Tannadice Street shows how difficult Scottish futba can be. Should we be where we are? Absolutely not. But we need to deal with it, galvanise and try and get out of the mess. Tangy is just getting the same ridicule and treatment I got (and am obviously still getting) from you boys when I met David Southern, as it appears to be the case that no-one apart from those deemed "most loyal" are permitted to bring any news to the greater support.
I'll ask you again, Thompson leaves, what's the plan? Who's coming in? What is the Fed plan? As even if someone gets Dundee United for the mythical pound (which will NOT happen as Justine is unlikely to accept 50p or whatever the will of Eddie stated) the Buyer would not own the ground and would inherit the debt. So they are gonna be a few £million down before the handshake is complete! Then they would look at the campaign waged against Thompson and say, "could/would I put my family through that?" when the support expects
Please tell me and the rest of us muppets and puppets.......

You really are a condescending prick at times . And yes you are a muppet.
And one of the most boring people I've ever had the displeasure of speaking too.
See ya.

Tangy, dinna want to be throwin any more fuel onto the fire, but I'd be interested to know if CS had any time between the questions being put to him/the Club, and answering them, or whether he responded to the questions in a impromptu meeting/interview type scenario.
This would at least Shed some light on whether someone else might have told him what to say, as is being suggested, or whether he actually answered aff his ane back.

agree with most of that Fkt. It is an almost impossible job running a club of our size. I cant really be bothered with all the he said this he said that shite it has no bearing on the future. However as you said what is the feds alternative plan for a ST free future, until that appears there in nothing to be gained from calling the current regime puppets and roasters.

Don't see how any of what FKT says is condescending or shite. Resorting to personal abuse tells its own story.

What's ST's plan for Dundee United??
We warned you this was going to happen, slipping further into the abyss. The longer he is here the further we slip. So I'll ask again, what is Steven Thompson's plan??
I don't know a single United fan who EXPECTS to win Cups and be in Europe btw.
