BBC ALBA Documentary - "Tannadice '87"

Currently in production.

If it's anywhere near the standard of their Jock Stein and Jimmy Johnstone documentaries, then we are in for a treat.

Could be worth a watch, might skip the ending though.

It's United, we all know how it will pan out.

Hashtag pants shat.

This is a wee bit off topic and wasn't going to start a new thread just for this. Just back from an important meeting with the head of a department at McGill University in Montreal. I only had a few minutes with the guy and it was important to create a good impression. The lad was a German, probably mid-50s. I introduced myself and he said "Where are you from originally?" I said "Dundee, in Scotland". Right away, the boy says "Ah - Dundee United!". Bingo!
Never got a chance to ask him whether he was Borussia or Werder Bremen

You must ask next time you meet bud. Don't assume either incase he loved seeing a rival beaten

I worry there's a similar post decades ahead with a meeting far from home but with a lad fae Dumbarton.

Times have changed eh.

Think I'll retire and move to a Catalonian part of Spain when it comes. Just to continually have conversations that are good for me.

If I do I'd better no run into the cunt fae Dumbarton if yi catch ma drift.
