In the grand scheme of things each succeeding league game is taking on more importance than the previous one. Like Raith last week was vital cos if we'd screwed up it could have been Arabgeddon. Now Falkirk on Saturday has heaps of importance cos will it be a 1st half or a 2nd half performance (from the Raith game) against a side who are chasing us & beat us there last time. So a lot of fans who were saying the Raith game was the most important of the season so far will now be saying the same thing about the Falkirk game. If it's like this til the end of the season I'm going to combust. Thankful there's a league break next week but why oh why do we keep getting away ties in cup competitions?
Fact is every game that comes along in this league now is the most important of the season to date and as long as we're in a battle for 1st or 2nd or even 4th that's gonna be the case.

The last game against the Bairns was an absolute nightmare on 3 levels. Tactics - We played that pointless unsuccessful tippy tappy midfield drivel which meant that lone striker Murray had virtually zero service so scoring was a problem. Defending - we didna close down crosses and couldna defend high balls and Team Selection - Ray picked a few "not-fully" fit players that didna last the game.
I dont know if I would favour the gung ho approach this time - even though Ray has been more positive in the last 2 games and we have more attacking options, This is a tricky game and 3rd placed Fakirk will be up for it. I would have 2 banks of 4 to be solid defensively (with Dillon in defence and Toshney as a sitter) and to frustrate and look to counter for the 1st hour or so with 2 forwards. We now have the personnel to add fresh legs up front for the later stages if required.

At least 4 levels: I had a raging hangover most of the day.

What's their away support like? Surprised to read they'd give you a hard time about the size of oor support bud.
They are crowd bores, without the facts to back it up. The local paper often goes on about their support, and the lack of fans following other teams: on various forums it's a topic Falkirk posters bring up without a trace of irony or self awareness.
When we were doing well over the years, they'd tell me how, if they were in our position, they'd be getting many more fans through the gates.
Now, unfortunately, we are in their position.........................
Hear ya Pat & sympathies for living so near the enemy but any smaller town team who generate their own support and don't converge on either sids of Glasgow have my respect. Take Brechin as an example. If those in the city with royal blue or green scarves went to the Glebe instead the world would be a better place. We all should have a healthy respect for those who attend their local team's games & don't leave town pot-hunting.

No Cammy Bell, disappointing.

Abysmal! Bullied all over the park! We won't make it through the first game of the playoffs! That simple.

Horrific once again. Fucking so many passangers in this squad.

Just back from Falkirk. Worst of this season and as bad as anything last season. Not going up on that evidence. Utter shite.

I can make all the excuses, plastic pitch, Miller getting away with petty fouls, the foul on Spittal ignored, but the truth of the matter, for me, is that we have a mental block about playing there.
Worst performance of this season by some distance. And it's highly likely we will have to play there again, as part of the play off system. Which is a worry.

You have to question the manager for constantly picking the wrong team and why we never ever turn up in a first half, furious after witnessing that shite today.
That is unacceptable and I would be calling a meeting of the whole club and team tomorrow morning and telling some home truths.
This shite has gone on far too long......

Truth be told we never done near enough to trouble falkirk yesterday they tore us apart AGAIN!
Toshney should be doing better for the first
Penalty is a penalty
Dixon clearence for the 3rd is woeful.
Another unacceptable performance.

I still have nightmares about Brewdog's last game there.
Randomly, who were the 4 United debutants that day? I can remember a goalie but I can't even remember his name.

That game was at Stenhouemuir's ground was it not?

It was at the Falkirk Stadium.
Euan MacLean was in goal.
Gregg Burnett played in midfield
Goodie at age 16 played up front
Ross Gardiner played centre half
Greg Cameron played in midfield as did Grant Smith.
It was shite. Almost as bad as yesterday.
