Billy Dodds v St.Johnstone in '98 for me.
perfect hat-trick scored (header,left foot,right foot) in a good 3-1 away win.
Any better?

Correct me if I'm wrong but that wasn't his debut. He came on as a sub in the previous game against dunfermline if I recall. It was his first start agaibst the farmers though.

That is correct B&T, definitely best full debut.

I remember Jerron Nixon's debut in a reserve game at Tannadice, there were around 3,500 fans at the game after the hype from Golac, Nixon impressed that game and went on to be a 200k player.

Worst was definitely that boy Pavel Mhadjuks

Seem to remember Mark Wilson making his debut in a derby in centre midfield and being outstanding, my memories shit tho so could be wrong.
Most of us will remember Paul Walkers debut in Bowmans testimonial I'm sure, boy looked sensational that day.

Had a wee nagging doubt when i posted that he had came on the week before and i should have checked....because he did, you're right (v Dunfermline).
Certainly best full debut i've seen.
Danny Cadz's wasn't bad.

Wee dodds debut was the one I 1st thought off but that chant always reminds me of st j away when we came back to beat them 2-3 and dodge this current caper with Gunboat's wee man running the length of the pitch towards the pitch invaders on the touchline.
An all time favourite UTD memory. Sing it frequently at my 3 year old wee boy when he goes on a mad solo in a multitude of circumstances.
