Re: Predictions v Dunfermline?

Hopefully Ray will see the light and change the system that's no worked in weeks/months. If he does we might have a chance.

Re: Predictions v Dunfermline?

2-2.

United take the lead, followed by 2 dunny goals and us to rally late on.

Re: Predictions v Dunfermline?

Tek & Tangy got the draw right but not the score.
Nobody had 2-1 United which it all but was.

Re: Predictions v Dunfermline?

Does anyone else view RM's managerial skills with a sinking feeling that he isn't quite as we had hoped for? Or is it just me?

I often said in the last year of McNamara's reign that i felt he was 'winging it'.

Unfortunately i get that feeling about Ray already.

I don't think there is any great masterplan in place.Infact i don't think there's even a rudimentary one.

Scrambling about for players and leaving everything till it's too late and trying to fit square pegs in round holes. Also a real squad imbalance (tons of midfielders, hardly any 'forwards' etc).

That's a few times you've posted just trying to get a rise out of the same 1 or 2 posters.

Re: Predictions v Dunfermline?

I have complete & utter faith in Ray McKinnon & the rest of the management team.
The boy is smert, it's tough out there but the boy is smert, wait & see.
I predict we'll lose him/them to a bigger club within 18 months.

To be fair Ray has had to work with Macnamara's leftovers

To be honest, I'm tired of waiting to see. We waited for Jackie to produce the goods, but only saw a bit of a shambles.  Then we waited for Mixu to come good, only to see the rubbish get worse. Now we are waiting for Ray to do the business, but all we see is a continuation of the two previous managers' incompetence. Sorry if that sounds disloyal to United, but that's the way I feel about the club I have loved for over 70 years.

That's fair enough Tek.

But there has been a lot worse posted from other people on here recently that you haven't pulled them up for publicly.

I don't get all this Fed v the rest, it's the worst thing that's happened to this forum. I have nothing personal against any of the Fed guys, I just don't like the siege mentality and the attitude towards people who have a different opinion on things by SOME. Not all.

It's slowly alienating, and turning off good posters. The forum is not turning in Mad2 but it's going to end up just a Fed forum if things keep on going like they are.

I'm not looking for an argument, it's just my opinion, and I'm not interested in a back and forth slanging match either.

There surely has to be a middle ground where we all can enjoy/discuss/contribute to this forum without resorting to schoolboy tactics.

What was worse that i haven't pulled up Sieb.?

If you are on about Bowers and B+T's posts last weekend then i did say (more than once) that that behaviour wasn't on.

B+T even PM'd me offering to be banned.

Beharder is of course entitled to his opinion (like everyone else) but he has been trying to get a rise out of the posters mentioned above, which in turn just starts more squabbling.

I've pm'd Beharder asking if he has an issue to speak about it. I like this board.  I put on it any info I get.  I try to answer anyone's questions re fed statements even though I probably shouldn't. I love United like everyone on here.  I seek no power or benefits fae previously being chairman of fed. I make a cunt of it sometimes.  I put my hands up to that. We all need to chill though.  We've all got our own opinions but ffs chill. Myself included!!

Good post and i agree with your sentiments.

I don't want Beharder to go anywhere,so i hope he isn't chucking it as i like his posts on football in general.

I like B+T posting too and i like his 'inside' knowledge on all things DUFC.

No-one has to go anywhere.

FWIW sending a (non-confrontational) PM to a poster if you think there is a problem is a good idea imo.Normally most disagreements can be ironed out.

It's just a fitba forum at the end of the day.
