Good luck with that. Mind they promised every fan who went to Inverness to see a match we lost because of an office fuk up, they would refund them in some way??

I was at that Inverness game & gotta say I was livid when I found out we'd fecked up, but how do they refund us? I never keep my ticket stubs, so other than being able to produce a receipt for a hotel room in Aviemore I can't prove I was there. BTW I'm not defending the Club here, just trying to be realistic.

A set of gullible idiots were taken in by a family full of bullshit promises they couldn't deliver. Just to think the people chased out of our club to force the Thompsons in, beyond belief.

And before anyone starts Eddie was horrific as chairman for us, full of bullshit while continually spunking money on guff. His money you say, certainly doesn't look that way now.

The club had a large debt when Eddie took over, the previous regime spunked millions away too.

Most of the debt from the previous regime came from the costs forced upon them to build an all seater stadium, costs ET never had to deal with, yet he still couldn't get the debt down, the only thing his son seems to give a fuck about.

They did have to build the stands but they also took in a lot of money from transfer fees during that period, big Dunc being the the biggest (British transfer record at the time?).  The point I'm trying to make is let's not try and re-write history here - Wee Jim was, is and always will be a legend, he's the best manager and coach we will ever have and there are no words I could write to describe what he did for the club BUT, his record as chairman was an entirely different kettle of fish.

Let's not forget the countless relegation battles we were in during the 90's/early 00s - the wasted transfer fees, paying off a succession of failed managers, the countless unknown South American's coming in, playing 1 or 2 games then disappearing.

We've had some good times under the Thompson's - the cup win in 2010 being the pinnacle.

Don't take this as me sticking up for or making excuses for what ST has done to the club because he has fucked up big-time and I would like to see him hand the club over to somebody else - the issue there is that there's not exactly going to be a big queue of people waiting to take over is there?

Sorry for the long diatribe but I just wanted to make those points.
