The 2nd game of Round 1 witnessed an easy victory registered for the winning Smiths track 'Bigmouth Strikes Again' which will as a consequence of said victory now progress through to the 2nd Round (seeded).And joining it in the next round also (albeit unseeded) is the runner-up 'Shakespeare's Sister'.Eliminated from the tournament at the first hurdle are the two tracks 'Death of a Disco Dancer' and 'Stretch Out And Wait'.The latter suffering the dreaded 'nul poit' in the voting process.
