ICT v United 25/10/14

They're going strong, we're scraping through games, after winning today I'd take a draw.

Who's all going?

ICT v DUFC

I'd play the 11 that gubbed Dundee 4-1 in September (our best performance of the season).

Watson..Morris..Fojut...Dillon......
..............Paton....Rankin.............
GMS..............Dow..........Erskine....
.....................Bilate......................

Re: ICT v United 25/10/14

Nadir just won the pen and scored the winner in our last game. You can't drop him after that. I think Dow, Armstrong and GMS behind Nads or Bilate, Armstrong and GMS behind Nads.

Re: ICT v United 25/10/14

I'd take a draw right now if offered it. It'll be a tight game and I doubt it will be pretty. Folk keep saying just wait till we click.

I just don't see it tbh

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

He has been shite mate. Me and vulture said it on here last week there was something no right with him and i thnk was the same against thistle. Dont get me wrong on his day he is a fucking handful a great player someone you want in your team but ffs when he is no intereted he is no interested. Ive seen it for a while now. Is he no happy he never got a move in the summer ?

Personally I don't think he's ever not interested. He gets easily frustrated and wound up. Sometimes he does daft things. If he didn't have his flaws, he'd be playing for a bigger team. I think he'll learn and he will get his big move eventually probably to Turkey. Anyway he's a match winner. He's just proved that. Can't drop him especially not against ICT or St.Mirren. We need the big man as long as he stays calm.

Have to agree, the manager made a schoolboy error in giving shifty his shirt back at the 1st opertunity after his madness against Hamilton, he should have been made to work for his shirt back as much as i like him, Armstrong??????? He looked like he was champing at the bit when he was warming up at Dens, what the fuck has happened since Stuart!

Thing with Nadir Is that he's so important to us. Like yesterday, brutal but created and scored the winner.

Good enough to get us 3 points. Unless Bilate's fit we don't have an option. I just think he's too good to leave out. Rotated at times yes but not after the back of a winning goal. Same goes for Stu although are there three better midfielders on current form? Erskine and GMS and then it's much of a muchness on form. Not sure I'd be confident with those two and Spittal or Telfer?

Re: ICT v United 25/10/14

McNamara obviously rates Spittal, he's his 13th man by the looks of it, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him start on Saturday.

I am surprised that we've not seen much of Telfer, a lot of noise about signing him and very little action since.

We may go for the Usual Suspects on Saturday then throw in three or four changes for Hibs away but personally I'd rather see a couple of changes for Saturday and if it doesn't work go back to the tried and tested boys for Leith.

Re: ICT v United 25/10/14

Spittal Telfer and GMS with Nads up front. Would certainly be interesting. Give it 60 minutes and then we've got Erskine, Dow, Armstrong and hopefully Bilate off the bench? Options. Souttar and Townsend coming back too, Squad's looking a bit less thin.

I thought it was quite telling that when Stevie Campbell was asked on here what youngsters were next to star in the first team regulary he mentioned Scott Smith and Blair Spittal.

His only comment about Telfer when asked specifically about him was that he 'needed time'.

Have to say when i saw him against Hibs in pre-season,i thought he looked impressive when he came off the bench.

Maybe not showing as much in training as the coaches had hoped for?

His almost total omission fae the first team has surprised me,i must say.

Re: ICT v United 25/10/14

Surprised me too based on hype, but I've honestly not seen a better player to our home grown players so far.

He was excellent at Hibs and Leeds. We're only in october, he has time. Ryan Christie Is out for them.

Re: ICT v United 25/10/14

Who would everyone play in Paton's position then?

Telfer for me.

Armstrong ( think this will prove to be his best position in the long run), with Telfer, GMS and Erskine in front of him and Ranks.
