Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

Was always surprised they were saying a couple of weeks.

I did the same thing in the summer and was out for a full 2 months. Tried to come back early and broke down within 2 minutes. Rest alone will fix it. Fitness will also be an issue when he's back.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

He's a big miss actually, not a flashy player but very very solid and reliable

We'll be rolling the dice with Toshney again, really hope Ray has sat him down and given him some sound advice about stopping diving in like a wee laddie.

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

Agreed, he's a big miss. From the St Mirren away game until his injury he was excellent. Rock solid.

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

I think Dillon has put in more solid performances than toshney at rb.
Toshney is a red card waiting to happen. He would have been off against hibs if the ref remembered to book him at the penalty. he doesn't learn though and fires in 2 more ridiculous lunges after that and finally gets a yellow

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

Incredible we paid a fee for him

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

Shoot me down but I don't worry about the fact we paid a fee as I doubt it was much and money spent on the squad has been better done so far under RMcK.

Hibs have 2 x the income through ST sales and the resultant extra these fans spend on all the things you pay for at the match, a hell of an uptake on DVD of the cup win at £14.99 a pop and shirt sales etc never mind EdinbMinnesotaurgh providing a higher financial clout for sponsorship deals.

All signings for us are a gamble and the chairman won't back much at all.
Ray won't bring in quality every time as our spend is gambling with peanuts and offloading versus bringing in more guaranteed quality.
If we get out this league it's only him that deserves credit.

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

VDS was in the lounge after the game with mates from Holland and he said he was fit to play last friday and today

The manager is picking his favourite before him.......astonishing

Exactly what he said!!

Which, if true, worries me. How Toshney can play over VDS staggers me TBH. Even if he wasn't completely match fit, why not even on the bench?

Toshney is rumoured to have a broken toe aswel which makes it even worse if vds and not in squad

At least Toshney is playing well...........

Re: Frankie oot for 2 or 3 weeks

Just in disbelief if that's correct, maybe not wanting to risk him and he's a bit cheesed off with not getting selected? Which is understandable
