Because narrowing it down to 32 songs was just too difficult Pat.Decided at last minute to just make it 64.

The opening game of the competition witnessed a pretty close run contest won by the track 'Please,Please,Please,Let Me Get What I Want' which will now as a consequence enter the 2nd Round as a seeded track.Joining it in the next Round also (albeit unseeded) will be the track 'Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before',which finished runner-up.The 2 tracks eliminated at the first hurdle were 'Handsome Devil' and 'That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore'.The latter rather unfairly receiving no votes.
