Hard choice for me it's between, edge Durnan and bell! I'm gonna go for durnan just how much he has improved, been absolutely outstanding!

^^^ This for me. Going for Durban as well just because the improvement symbolises how the club has turned round.

Few weeks back would have been Andreu easily, lot closer now. Cammy Bell up there, Edge, Flood, Durnan and Scott Fraser getting in the running now too.
Overall gonna say Edge for he difference he's made to the defence as a whole.
By the end of the season I'm convinced Fraser will walk this tho, if he's here all year.

William Emery Edjenguélé.

Edjenguele for me.

Its good to see there is a healthy debate with a number of serious candidates this time last year there were no deserving players. Durnan for me

The edge for me
Man has settled the back line and think him ans cammy bell have made a massive change.

Edge too for me, he's been superb! Durnan like a new player runs him close with Willo and Bell. Also been impressed with Telfer looking mature in there with Willo taking where he was 5mths ago

The edge for me because he his experience has helped Durnan find the form he had before he joined us
Many genuine contenders to rival the edge
Bell
Durnan
Willo
Tony
Pleasant change from last season

Player of the half season has to be between Cammy Bell and big Wullie. For total consistency I go for Bell.
Used to expect us to have great keepers after growing up with Hamish then Billy T.
CB has been amazing all the fkn way so far.

Good candidates - Edge & Durnan for defending, Bell - solid keeping & 7 penalty saves, Willo for closing down, geeing up & leading by example, Andreu for scoring. My vote Fraser 6 MoM's, 4 goals, 10 or so assists and the only forward looking player who constantly wants to attack instead of posing aimlessly in midfield.

I'd say the Edge, his performances plus how he has helped improve Durnan shade it for me. Bell, French Tony, and Flood deserve a mention though and if Telfer keeps it up he might make a shout for it 2nd half of the season

If in your opinion he is the only one not "posing aimlessly in midfield" who are those who do?

Telfer, VDV, Spittal
I would like to have seen VdV playing in his prime.
Tho I do still enjoy watching him now, his ball trickery is not showboating, it's just routine.
Unfortunately there are more butchers in Scotland than in the Netherlands!

Vdv is aright, still defo got something to offer unlike spittal, used to get shot down massively when I said he was shite, seems like your all coming to your senses now

'all'?
Although the topic is 'Player of the Season so far', you're using it as another opportunity to slate a player.
Besides being unfair on the individual yet again, you're assuming that we all see the same way as you: we all have differing opinions.
While Spittal hasn't been a sparkling attacking option, he's made a solid contribution in Raymond's formation in a defensive sense, covering for attacking full backs (this is my view, not necessarily a fact).
Check this: I reckon we've only lost two league goals when he's been on the park this season. We've conceded 13 overall.

Find it very difficult to single out 1 player from our team. (I usually can) .
Edge Durnan and Bell - have become a fantastic unit. Likewise big tony and fraser have also been fantastic.
The other thing worth noting - although the rest aren't as standout as the aforementioned players, they are all doing a fantastic job being part of a team. Lads like willo will run their legs off to help win.
Tbh if possible, I'd give it to ray as he's the one who has built this team who operate and fight for each other for the greater good.

Bet after all this fawning over half the team we go and lose to Dumbarton again lol.
Wouldn't it be great to have a cheeky wee 5-0?
Or even a 3-0.
Altho as per usual 1-0 will do.

Will Durnan be ok for Saturday? That was a sore one he took last week.

He's fine, trained the last couple of days and ready for Saturday.
