Dundee United V's Partick Thistle - Saturday 18th October (3pm)

Big chance to get back to winning ways after the dissapointment of the Kilmarnock game. Will be tricky though,Partick look a tougher proposition this season, and in Higinbottom,Doolan and Stevenson have a big attacking threat these days.

My team would be ...

.................................Czierniak.....................
Watson...............Morris........Fojut........Dillon
...........................Paton........Rankin...............
...............GMS........Armstrong.....Erskine.....
..................................Ciftci......................

Subs - Szromnik,Bilate,Smith,Townsend,Dow,Telfer,Spittal

*1 hour long highlights are on ALBA at 10pm Saturday night*

My team too, would only expect a change to that front 4 if Jackie still hasn't calmed down.

Hope to see an improvement in performance and attitude here. Erskine GMS and Ciftci behind Bilate for me.

Re: Dundee United V's Partick Thistle - Saturday 18th October (3pm)

I think this will be a high scoring match.

3-2 us,i think.

GMS and Armstrong are long overdue taking a game.Be looking for a big reaction fae everyone after the killie match, particulary Ciftci who better tuck in the petted lip sharpish.

Tight game tomorrow, would take any sort of win tbh, the shifty senario is getting on my nerves now, I'm convinced something is up with the big lad... He's our best player and has to start but I've said it fae about February, there's something up with him imo

If Dow is out then GMS in. Really can't see GMS starting much the rest of this season if others are fit.

Re: Dundee United V's Partick Thistle - Saturday 18th October (3pm)

Hoping GMS, Armstrong, Dow and especially Shifty turn up for this one. The Shifty situation also beginning to piss me off a bit. Talented player, no doubt about it, but the attitude needs reined in.

Looking forward to the game, hope we get a decent crowd for 3pm Saturday, when fitba should be played!

I agree but after seeing the starting line ups so far this season and the way things have been panning out I just have a feeling he won't be a definite starter for Jackie. Priority will be given to those are here longer term. Could be totally wrong, just a feeling I am getting.

Most skilful, certainly, but debatable for best player overall.
