Re: Raith Rovers v DUFC - Starks Park - Sat 17 Dec 2016

That 2nd bookings for Toshneys a yellow all day long, really fkn stupid when U've already been booked as there was no need for it.  I must have said "don't make a challenge" 5 times to myself before he did it, it was so obvious what he was going to do.  Was told last night he was lucky the 1st one wasn't red from someone who was 100 yards closer, no idea if that's true.  Thing is he was playing reasonably well, experienced enough not to be making daft decisions like that tho.

Thought Robson struggled defensively yesterday, beat far too easily 3 or 4 times.  Durnan was absoluely solid.

Obadeyi was v poor imo, personally thought Telfer was good on the ball 1st half and the 4 in front all lacked the belief to use it properly, pace of some passes from all was so poor.  2nd half  it was stepped up but lack of a real striker again obvious.

Didn't fancy Andreu at the pen when he lined himself up to run straight, was a good save tho.

Overall not a bad point in the end.

The ref gave us a soft penalty and pretty much had to send that idiot off

Highlights from the Raith Rovers site.

Silly late challenge for the first Toshney booking, but the second is harsh: having said that, he knew he was running the risk.

Toshney is our very own Marcos Rojo.  Could (should?) have got a yellow in the first half.  His first yellow was completely brainless.  He'd no chance of winning a tackle there.  Needs to be making much better judgement calls.  Second yellow, the Raith boy slows up, but again, horrendous judgement to even be near enough to give the ref a call.  Not a bad point, but we need to find a cutting edge.  And quickly!

Away support figures given as 2458
Stand holds 3370
Where did the empty seats go then

Quite a lot of seats in the top corners were empty, and strangely a big group of seats were available at the front right as you looked at the park.

On the second pic there is another image where that area is full at the section at front. A flag was moved from them to let people sit on some of them

Either way deffo not over 900 empty seats

I'd say 3000 there . no way only 2500.

I was back row very top corner right as you face the pitch and there were hundreds of empty seats I could see from that vantage point. 2,500 is good enough, we don't need to try justify more.

Why not? If there's more there than has been stated then it should be said. Theres no danger there was 900 empty seats there.
