Live streaming tv

What's the best way? Amazon fire with kodi installed?

Seen other devices with kodi installed at about 40 quid...also see a fire stick for 25 on amazon black friday deals - would it be easy enough to load?

Re: Live streaming tv

If you've got an Android tablet download Mobdro. Its fucking teckle. Just google it rather than go on your app store. You don't get it on the I-Pad. I play it through my Chromecast.

Too much commotion

Re: Live streaming tv

Aye, got mob drop already - the TV I'm going to use it on isn't the best (old spare tv) - so probably can't stream phone to tv....

Re: Live streaming tv

I use kodi for movies and box sets on Fire stick. Mobdro direct as app on the stick as I've not found live TV any good on kodi

Re: Live streaming tv

fire sticks are really really easy to load with kodi/mobdro etc and are the cheapest option at the moment.

Re: Live streaming tv

I've got Kodi on the firestick and it works magic, all the movies i could ever want on the likes of exodus and specto.

Paying £9.00 a month for Dexter TV subscription and gets you live tv streams of UK and US channels including BT, Sky Sports. It also has a PPV streams and you can get pretty much anything in HD

Re: Live streaming tv

Looking to get my wee kids amazon fire kids version tablets as it's got a 2 year break and return guarantee and kids limited net access. Is the fire stick the way to add without risk? Kids tablet is 2 thirds dearer so is it possible to make the standard version secure for kids?

Re: Live streaming tv

Sure there is parent locks on Kodi but now sure you can guarantee it's 100% filtered as it's an uploading streaming device. I only let the kids use it when I'm there to load on the films for them
