Young lad was at the game last night and told me that the goalie Brett Long looked assured, also said the young left back was quietly impressive!

Lost 1-0 to a strong Hibs team earlier this evening.
The game was played indoors.

Scoreline from today's SFA Youth Cup 4th Round game.
Lossiemouth 0 DUFC 9
Jorgan Garden scored a hat-trick but was usurped by Logan Chalmers who grabbed himself FOUR goals in the rout.
The other two goals were notched by Graham Taylor and the other Logan (Logan Davie).
Louis Appere was heavily involved in a few of the goals supposedly.

Celtic away in next round of the cup.

Playing Killie away this evening at 6pm.
Been on a good run recently...let's keep it going.
Really want to see Brad Smith,Matt Smith,Ali Coote,Graham Taylor and the like push hard to break into the first team squad now.
That can only happen by playing consistently well for the Devs, week in week out.
P.s. Thought Brad Smith done well on Saturday btw.

The scorers were (if anyone's interested).
Coote (pen),Graham Taylor and Louis Appere with 2 (also had one disallowed).
The team is on a great run now.Credit where credit's due.

Credit where credit's due. Indeed.
Less than two moths ago the development squad results were getting used as another angle to swipe at the organisation and running of the club. Although not a fan of ST, we are on an upturn just now, and long may that continue.
But there will come a point when we suffer disappointments, and you have to take it on the chin: that's what being a football fan is all about.
Back on topic, if a couple of guys make the grade from the present development squad, that is a great result.

Well said Tek and Pat, our "2nd" team (at that time) was dismantled not so long and our almost scratch 20's team is performing in the same vein as our first, i.e. way above what you would expect in the time given,

If a week is a long time in politics then it's an eternity in football.
Beat 1-0 by Dunfermline midweek and trounced 5-0 by Celtic yesterday to end our participation in the Scottish Youth Cup.
A wake up call for a few.

At least we can look forward to our next wee derby.
Alas it's 2pm on a Friday.
And fuck me, it's in Montrose.
Looks like they adopt the same development match location rationale as us.
They're effectively closed doors games. It's wrong that fans can't get to see players outside the first team squad. Even the most avid of Dev Squad fans will be lucky to see half a dozen games. I wonder if Project Brave will come up with anything different.

That's certainly the consequence, but what is the reasoning behind playing Utd home games in Airdrie, Arbroath, Brechin, Montrose and basically anyfuckingwhere not local?
Beyond me.🤔

This has been spoke about many times its a bit of a piss take.
The derbys are usually tannadice r they not as ive been to a couple. Friday 2pm tannadice or GA arena would suit me this week to.

Hearing Ofere looking ok , Robertson not so much. Mate reckons he has seen milk turn quicker?

Robertson hooked on 65, anonymous according to a friend at the game.

Beat 0-3.
Both trialists garbage (according to those there).
Everything is so negative about the club at the moment.
No real youngsters coming through to seriously stake a claim for a first team shirt.
Mason should at least have been home on the plastic.
Oh well, back to square zero.
Motherwell devs are quite good mind, did they not win the league last season?
Did both trialists get 90 mins do you know?
