Re: paul paton

Well done to him.  He played very well against Dundee at Dens and against St Johnstone although tbh he was brutal against Hamilton and Killie.  As has been said he does a job and cannot be faulted for effort.

Too much commotion

Re: paul paton

As I said on the Killie match thread the only boy in our team to come out with pass marks that night, and he was excellent v Dundee at Dens.

Very underrated player by our fans who have a long history of not appreciating what an important role these types of players play.

Re: paul paton

Well done to Paton. Always gives his utmost for United and never hides on the park.

Vastly underrated player for us that some can't wait to criticise. One of my favourite players at United and very pleased for him getting this.

Agree re Pates but thought Erskine was our best player in the Killie flop.

Re: paul paton

Being investigated by the SFA compliance officer in an alleged spitting incident.Surely he wouldnae be so fucking daft in light of his upcoming Zaluska court date?

His booking on Saturday now means he'll sit out the St.Johnstone game on december 27th through suspension.

Re: paul paton

Watched the video, never saw a gob, looks like he shouts something that upset Johnny Hayes though maybe "spotty poof" they'll bring in a bad lip reader and turn it into something more sinister based on his Irish parentage or charge him with the invisible gob, either way a retrospective red for unsporting conduct looms.

Re: paul paton

Totally unrelated to the rest of the thread but noticed Pates tweeted that he had a 'minor procedure' done and is just back running.

Hopefully back in the reckoning for the Hamilton game.

Re: paul paton

Hope he has the same benefit from a tidy up that Ranks had.

Still a headache for Jackie with Butch's form.

Re: paul paton

Could well be a doubt I guess if only just back running. Hamilton game is going to be a tough one.

Re: paul paton

Wee reminder that Paton has won this award before.

2 days later he battered Zaluska.
