Bit harsh on Dillon.  Not a great admirer of him but see no reason why he can't remain club captain. 
Totally fine with Bell as team captain on the pitch.

Hard to know bud but I'd expect Ray would. Seems more of a man manager than most and is after a certain team spirit which is probably the aim and a big part of this decision.

I always wonder when a goalie is made captain as unless he has a megaphone it's hard to marshal the team and converse with the ref but another point might be that building from the back, having a solid defence that is well organised and instructed is a basis for the forward play these days.

He comes across as very honest and liked by the players. Sure Ray has better reasons for this than we are aware of fae the outside.

I think the Captain has to be seen as a proven winner by character and have regular high performances.
So far he's shown a lot of that and seems to have the respect of the players.

We're set for a long nervous January window. I just hope there are no bids for him or Fraser but can't help feel 1 of them will be off. Hopefully they give us till the seasons end, stay and win the league lads!
