Re: Jackie McNamara

Seems like it's been handled just as poorly as Thompson handled it.

He should have been sacked by York last Feb/ March.

Re: Jackie McNamara

He must have the gift of the gab. That's two Chairmen who have been taken in by him and waited far too long to sack him.

Too much commotion

Re: Jackie McNamara

I see Jackie has had a wee cryptic dig at Thompson on Talksport.

As much as i am critical of Thompson i don't think Jackie can complain in anyway about not being backed by Thompson.

It was the opposite if anything. He gave him one (crucial) transfer window too much.Unfortunately as the club was in dire need of surgery this was all that was needed for the damage to become irreparable in the short term.

In short Jackie can fuck right off.Nothing's ever ever his fault.

Charlatan.

Re: Jackie McNamara

I can only guess York gave him a lucrative long tern contract less than a year ago, and hope he'll come good at something in his new role. Or get pissed off and leave.

Re: Jackie McNamara

Seems like the rumour he put a big investment in York must be true.

Either that or they have the worst owner in football

Re: Jackie McNamara

Hey!!!  Some things are beyond lying. Realised after I'd typed the initial letter for Ye Couldna Mak It Up that it could have started York City. Think Pat Reilly could be right. Some fowl woulnae say, 'ach well I've been useless. Let me go an we'll call it quits'.

Re: Jackie McNamara

If Jackie is the grand old Duke of York, then what's the odds of him having 10,000 men and that not 1 of them was a decent experienced centre back?

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
