Although there is no doubt Sutton likes to be controversial, he's quite an open analyst, and much more articulate than Fat Derek. 

Fat Derek is only employed by the media due to his Hun connections, and he also gets a wage from the Hun for commentating on the Ibrox TV channel. 

Sutton called him correctly, as Johnstone has been an apologist for any person who has passed into the Ibrox boardroom. Folk like Fat Derek are a major part of the Ibrox clubs' problems over the years, which has a knock on effect for the rest of football.

Sutton was a far better player than Johnstone and he is also a far better pundit. Sutton says what he thinks and almost unique quality in the Scottish Media, keep it going Chris. 

Until he signed for Rangers he was a Utd fan, that's what gets me.

He showed his true colours,like many other Huns (Walter Smith, McCoist, Sandy Jardine etc) during their administration and subsequent liquidation.

Not quite the big 'cheeky chappy' that was often portrayed in the media over the years.
