Some fans on here want to be positive and quote stats about predicted goal ratios etc blah blah blah
Murray is never ever good enough if we are to escape this shit hole, even if he chips in with a few goals like last week his all round game is sub standard.
I will say it again being a striker is not just about scoring goals, linking the play and ball retention is more important than fluking a goal here and there.
I've nae idea how he's going to turn out but like that he's keen as said before.
I posted his stats Plumber to give some facts. Predicted goal ratios might be blah blah blah bud and didnae come fae me.
If yer pointing a finger at me for being overly positive check yersell as im not wanting to be unrealistically positive mate, just hopefull with what we have.
Don't like doomers twisting my words.

Wakey wakey gents, Murray playing on his own will not get anything near that amount of goals, unless the manager plays a target man along side him, Daly Esque then we are fucked
Think maist ken that but think Andreu was the scoring signing.
Does the manager not know or see what we see???

Problem for Ray is its either play Simon Murray or play without a striker. IMO he should have signed a couple tho, so could well say it's his own fault.
If no one is coming in, then I'd play Cammy Smith up top with VDV, Andreu and one of Spittal/Fraser/Obadeyi behind.
would even go crazy with the old John Clark/Lee Wilkie CB up front routine, but Durnan or Donaldson still wouldn't win any headers.

Mair than sure the manager sees what we see. No sure the players are doing exactly what's asked. Could see it in his face on Alba close ups. All the same emotions you could have picked aff an away stand fan puss close up.
Manager openly said he wants a striker but until the money is provided it won't be possible.
If we don't add more to the squad I worry injuries could undo the season.

One close up showed him with a resigned look on his face, and he shook his head sadly. Nae fucking wonder!

Our season was already undone when Murray was our first choice striker

Lol so it's Simon's fault we can't defend cross balls? As always we have a scapegoat. The whole lot of them were stinking on Saturday. Murray less culpable than that bombscare defenders and powder puff midfield.

Didn't say he was?? I'm saying going in to the season with a player of murrays ability as first choice striker was never gonna get us anywhere this season

Also if you think Fraser is powder puff, Simon Murray is just as bad!

Can I ask were you a John rankin fan??

No I wasn't a fan of Rankin although in his final couple of seasons, when we had to quality front 4 him and Paton were excellent together. I understand what people are saying about Murray however we have more problems than him ie the inability to defend a cross ball.
