Ray McK, Tony the Terroriser and Cammy hattrik Bell interviews on the zone give you a good insight into what that 90 mins felt like to them.
Seems like it's been an experience to bond the players who more than appreciate the support that entwined with the team and made this unique victory even better for each other.

Talk about fine lines in football and the slim margins between winning and losing.
We made it tough for ourselves, the tactics and formation, especially after we scored the second, just invited pressure.
It really showed when we went down to 10 men and when we broke up the park there was almost nobody in the box. Anyway in the end it worked out, and thats why Ray is the United gaffer and I do what I do
So to summarise from my own opinion, I thought the two new defenders, The Edge and VDS were solid despite each giving away pens, but can see we might struggle against fast forward lines as they aren't the quickest, but still like them.
Willo was excellent again, and I thought Teller had a good game as well, I am hoping this will boost his confidence. Good to see Dixon back from injury but I prefer Robson on current form.
VDV was quieter than usual out wide but he still had some sublime touches. Andreu was much like VDV apart from two great finishes.
Overall a very exciting and nervy game to watch, I thought the supporters were magnificent, great hearing them sing for Cammy Bell, and what more can you say about our MOTM, amazing display of shotstopping, still could work on his kick outs and commanding of the box but so could a lot of goalies we had. Im delighted for him, must do his confidence wonders.

Found it very nail-biting after the Pars got their goal, and I was only listening on the radio. What was the story with Dixon?
Dixon was booked for backchat at a penalty, then sent off for the first foul he'd been penalised for. I think.
That system didn't apply to Pars players, especially that wee guy who's on loan from Celtic.
Yes, what Pat said. After the ref awarded the Pars 3rd pen he booked Dixon, Bell and 2 others I think (Flood and Toshney?) for the brouhaha. It was OTT and unnecessary handing out the bookings at that time, maybe a wee bit of common sense after awarding a 3rd pen in 30mins that players are gonna get exasperated. Seen a lot worse after ref decisions not going players way and remonstrating while getting away with it.
The second booking was a foul, IMO, but also some of the Pars players done a lot worse and escaped bookings, and even the ref pulling them up for the foul. Inconsistent.
A decent ref would have walked away, made it clear he was ignoring protests, warned one if they went on. No Beaton. He couldnae get the cards flashed quick enough.
No sure how tE post this but watched the Arabzone Twitter video the some wee Pars fan vlog came up. If you ignore the underage swearing You get some great crowd shots each time a penalty gets saved.

Highlights | 10/09/2016 | v Dundee United:
Incidentally Dundee Utd appear to be one of the few clubs who don't provide their fans with free brief highlights a day or two after the game.
Good business sense or grippit?

I actually think the club is right to charge a small monthly fee for media. Especially this season where TV coverage is minimal.

Great to get the 3 points but dont think we played that good for large parts of the game.

Highlights on dufc youtube are good.
Well put together, good graphics and don't have 5 replays of every goal.
Second should have been stopped way before the pen -keeper is out the game, as is the striker.
3rd I can't tell - is he protecting his face or not? It looks like his palm is facing outwards....not a natural position??
Dickers had to walk I'm afraid. Although Beaton getting card happy at the pens hasn't helped our cause. You are on a yellow and then commit a 'professional' foul.... he took one for the team as the attacker would be in a great position otherwise.

All 3 are pens! Hard camera angle on dickers but felt he actually won the ball, we had a absolute stonewall pen at the end of the first half where I think it was obadeyi was pushed in the back like what willy got penalised for

A quick question about the match: a good few fans were displeased when van der Velden was replaced by Donaldson. As it turned out, the change worked, but is it the case that vdV was an injury doubt leading into the match?
I'm sure I was told that before the teams were announced.
And another one: did folk have trouble getting into pubs before the match?

Never realised the Garvock would welcome football fans: thought it was a wedding venue!
