What's everyone's thoughts?
I reckon we'll have a decent wee run now after the Dunfermline result, particularly the manner of it. Presumably Dixon suspended so Robson in. Didn't see Saturday so not sure on any other changes, possibly Smith back in?

Murdoch for Telfer, if fit

I'm of opinion to leave Telfer in there instead of Murdoch, he's been giving a bit of creativity in the midfield instead of defence and given another game on plastic he may be better suited to the quicker game that AstroTurf gives you.

Overall thought we played poor sat actually took our chances for a change which was good to see..
Id keep Telfer in thought he done well on sat.

Thought we were okay going forward, but the defence looked unsettled quite a few times: of course they weren't helped by Beaton's bizarre performance.
But more of a concern was how shaky we looked with crosses, as I was hoping the new players would make a difference. Also felt Dunfermline cut through the midfield far too easily, which is why Murdoch might get back in.
The closest of Championship venues for me on Saturday, and I've always had a healthy dislike of Falkirk and their fans (although it's better they support the Bairns than the the OF), so several hours in the pub for an evening kick off will set this one up nicely.
But remember, Falkirk's ground, in Grangemouth, has no drinking venues in proximity. It's one of the worst out of town stadiums, and I'll guess there will also be very few turnstiles available at the away end.

If Murdoch is fit he will definitely come in for Telfer. Although Telfer gradually came into the game in the 2nd half he was posted missing for most of the 1st half. Murdoch has been doing a good job with Flood at protecting the back four and he likes a tackle something the team is still a bit short of.

My first thought about this game is we simply must retain the ball better when it goes up front, Murray is diabolical at leading the line and it would be VDV or Smith up front for me.
Falkirk are a much better team than Dunfermline which means we need to up the performance levels this week, , hopefully we will defend a bit better too.
This is a must not lose game

Yeah I massively agree would like to see vdv up front again not only is he a target man but with the ball at his feet he's simply brilliant and his link up play is brilliant!
Bell
Toshney frank willy Robson
Murdoch(if fit) flood
Andrue smith obadeyi
Vdv
Bell
Tosh-Frank-Willy-Jamie
Willo-Murdch
VdV-Andreu-Cammy Smith
Obadeyi
subs - Ginger, Chico, Spitz, Dillo, Col, Fraser, Zwick
Obadeyi switching wide right & wide left leaving the three No.10s plenty gaps to raid thro the middle like Partick game. I wouldn't cry if Murray before Obadeyi as long as he promises us his usual goal-a-game.

I never said they'd kick us off the pitch

Haha no worries
It should be a decent game to watch but I'm worried about our ability to control the game and nullify their attacking threat.

Big test for us.
Probably the toughest so far in this league.
Not sure what to expect but that might be a reoccurring thought week to week being a so called big team in a tough division with 10 new players and new coaching team.
Hopes are boosted after the last experience for sure. Hope to see our fouls and bookings increase as time goes on. Been too soft and Flood, Murdoch, Wullie and Frankies style needs to infect the rest a bit. Especially after being soft as I've ever seen last season.
2-2 or 1-2 is my hope mair than predtion.
Cannae mind the last player we had exactly like Andreu.

Falkirk have had their disappointing results this season.
Lost to Stirling Albion in the Betfred.Got humped off of Tommy Wright's mob.
And lost to Qots and Hibs.
They have picked up of late though and have won 3 on the bounce including a great result away to Raith last week.
I'd bring MUrdoch back if fit.And it'll have to be Dillon or Robson at left back (hopefully the latter).
I like Murray and think there's goals in him.He scored last week and is also our top scorer.Don't think he deserves dropped.
Wouldn't change much from last week tbh apart from Murdoch and Robson in for Telfer and Dixon.

Very hard game but i think we will sneak it 2-1

Tough game especially on the plastic. These are the games we must win as was last week. Quietly confident we have enough in the final third to win this one.

We've got to be more up for it than them. Their crowd is always noisy and gets behind them.

Sure we will have a well oiled support behind us today which hopefully helps.

Can't believe how bad we are, the standard of how bad we are is embarrassing, Falkirk are a fkn pub team yet have easily beat us so what does that say about us?

Beyond a fucking joke.

Unlucky with half a team being injured in the end but it doesn't excuse our defending...it's a curse
Murray again failed to put one single aerial challenge in and his link up play was poor as fuck
Offline
We'll be lucky to make the playoffs at this rate.
Thank fuck 4th is as good as 2nd in that respect.
Early days but that was awful. If yer awfy positive a draw might have been a fair result and we had injuries before and during but that doesnae excuse the pish defending, link up play especially fae mid forward and lack of movement/urgency.
Hope RayMcK is going through them right now.
Think we need to expect a tough match from all teams. Call them pub teams if you like but as fans that is as bad as players thinking we have a superior right to win which isn't a good stance.

That 2nd half performance was completely unacceptable.
When the game descended into a bit of battle only one team wanted it and it wasn't us.
Very deflated after watching that.
