Watched this film last night starring Colin Fifth in the lead role.
True story about a Scotsman (Eric Lomax) who was a PoW in Japan and tortured by his captors after being found building a radio.
It tells how he years later came face to face with one of the torturers.
A story ultimately of forgiveness and human compassion.
Would recommend.👍

Its a good film TEK but if you enjoyed railwayman read the book Forgotten Highlander by Alistair Urqurhart an almost unbelievable story of a will to survive.

Alastair Urquhart is a friend of mine, so I'm lucky enough to have a signed copy of his book. But I'm no biased when I say I would recommend it like Beharder does.

I've just learned that the author of The Forgotten Highlander, Alistair Urquhart, has passed away. Probably the bravest person I've ever met.
