Tbh can't really argue with the pens I think but his whole performance as a whole was diabolical

Missed the first one as I was watching the ball.
Second was a clip of the heels by VDS on the pars player after he stumbled near the goal line, soft pen but was a foul IMO even though the Dunfermline player was running away from goal and Cammy was fouled in the build up.
Third was another soft pen for handball after a shot hit the raised hands of (i think?) Willo who was trying to block it, the hands were only raised to shoulder height and he couldn't do nothing about it so very harsh, but the ref interpreted it as hand to ball.
To be honest if it was United having the penalty claims we would be screaming for them too, just all a bit soft IMO.
The ref just lost control of the game and was inconsistent, he had a right shocker, even without the penalty awards.

Â
Sounds like 90% of Scottish games TBH. Our refs are shite, while being immune to criticism.

He was dying to send a United player off, Dixon committed 1 foul the whole game
Fuck you Beaton you fat fuckin arse hole of a man

I always remember it was this clown that booked Ciftci against Hibs a couple of years back when Ciftci had possession of the ball, slipped and fell into a Hibs boy who was about to make a challenge on him. Â Being a ref must be very hard but sometimes you wonder what they see.

For me the only thing beaton got right yesterday was the 3 penalty decisions.
1st one clear shove on a player who looked like he was away to score
2nd looked like VDS slipped but he took the player out
3rd hands were raised to head hieght to stop a goalbound shot

TBH, listened to Joe's commentary and reckoned he may may be slightly less than impartial. Now watched the highlights and think Beaton could be some kind of global masonic grand master with a 54th degree and no BBC to account to when he's reffing in the lower divisions (where he belongs).

From behind the goal in real time I thought the second should've been a foul against Cammy. Now I've seen it on the Zone surely the lifted leg, showing studs to the keeper is foul play. That could've done real damage. Compare that take what got Dixon a second yellow and it's a definite shout.
John Beaton was determined take be a homer from the outset.
Side mention for the hoarding behind the goal for Hatrick Bruce.
