Watched it last night....fucking outstanding documentary.
Oasis made me want to pick up a guitar when i was 15.
Watching that last night made me want to pick up the guitar all over again.🎸
Still an inspiration to me.
What a band.

That rehearsal at the Boardwalk in '92 is on Youtube JA.
I posted it up during the 'Oasis Best Song Competition'.
Was absolutely astonished to see no fewer than 3 songs from 'Be Here Now' all fully developed and sounding album ready.
Astonishing prolifacacy.

I watched it a few weeks back, I'd previously watched 'Senna' & 'Amy' from the same producers so I knew I would enjoy it.
Having had no knowledge of Ayrton Senna whatsoever and only what the press told us about Winehouse's private life I loved both of those documentaries.
Having been a total Oasis geek since I was sixteen there was less for me to learn from 'Supersonic'
Most of the interviews for the documentary I had on a 6 hour long play VHS tape I bought at a record fair circa 96-97 in the Marryat Hall so I had seen 99% of the footage.
Saying that it is still a great documentary that I will go back to and watch every two years or so until I pop my clogs, much the same way as I have done with the Definitely Maybe documentary that was brought out for the 10th anniversary of its release (I think)
I know exactly what you mean TEK about learning the guitar on the back of discovering Oasis, anyone who learnt the guitar between 94-97 and says Oasis never influenced them is a liar and a musical snob.

Gonna watch it tonight. Happy times. I wouldn't like to put a figure on how much money I spent on music from about 1994-2001.
Watched most of it at the weekend. Took me back I must say. Fking loved that band and I'm one of the many who'd never touched a guitar until I heard some of the B-sides.
Took me a while to get into the doc's style of playing the interview over other footage but it was a good way of cramming in loads of images and other footage I suppose
