Patterson fucked his knee at parkhead early season, maybe played twice before that
came back after about a year, never the same player, and eventually went out on loan until the end of his contract

shedboy, can't agree about McCracken, he wasn't great but played under several different managers who might have got rid if he was so bad, surely?
One that's not been mentioned, who I thought was dreadful positionally, and a better attacker than defender for us by a distance, was Hasney Aljofree. His threat up front at a poor period for the club covered up his defensive weaknesses, yet he went on to have a very good career at a few clubs (mostly managed by Luggy right enough).
I must have had it wrong about Hasney, as he's now, I believe, employed at Old Trafford as a youth coach.

I quite liked Aljofree tbh.
Thought he was a decent left back who chipped in with some decent goals.
Mind him scoring an overhead kick v St.Johnstone at home and I in a moment of shameful over-exuberance broke a seat in front of me in celebration (the season ticket holder chap who was the said owner of this seat wasn't very impressed with this subsequent unfolding of events,as it turned out).

With the head screwed on he was actually half decent but unfortunately we very rarely got to see that. Absolutely horrific 99% of the time.

Pat,
You're bang on about aljofree.
Horrendous positionlaly, regularly got caught under the ball and would easily take 3 touches to get it under control.
His goals cut him a lot of slack, specifically his overhead kick.
I'm sure that was the game that Danny Griffin hit the post and bar with the one free kick.
Cracking delivery from griffin - he could hit the post 9 times out of 10

Paul Ritchie! I'll never forgive the lazy cunt for his shocker against Mypa.
