Strange game. Found us play brilliantly at times, then stupidly at others.

Great to take an early lead in the 1st minute, thru a brilliant wallop by Telfer, but then couldna kill the game off. Their equalizer was probably down to Fraser who shoulda cleared or passed better, instead of trying to beat their man in our box.

Van the Man played thru brilliantly by himself and takes a good strike to score the 2nd, but within a minute, they get their 2nd, their number 5 beating Dixon on the wing, puts in a cross that gives McAllister his 2nd.

Great cross by Spit for Tony to nod in fir our winner. Could live with him scroring at least 1 like that every game.

We had about 70% possession, and canna understand why we didna manage to kill the game off. Why in phuck do we make it so difficult for ourselves?

It was Spittal the boy beat to cross for their 2nd.

Wasteful, yes, brutal, no.
If we had a natural goal scorer the game would have been finished as a contest by half time.
They had around 4 efforts and scored 2 of them.
Sloppy for the first goal with Fraser being too short on the pass.
Think it was spittal who got roasted for the 2nd, a good cross and finish but I would've hoped our ch's might have got closer. I'll cut them some slack though as it is their first game together and it was a good cross and also finish from a clinical front man

Excellent summary.

I actually enjoyed the game. Some of the football was good.
We completely dominated.
We do need to sort out the wastefulness though or it will cost us.
I kind of think if we had managed to offload Donaldson and durnan we would have signed higdon.
Rumours that ST was saying as much to his cronies in the Royal arch.

Maybe we should glue their car locks

Speaking of needing specs, did toshney miss an open goal from about5 yards out after he blocked floods shot at the end of the second half?
I assumed he was offside but my mate was adamant he missed.
He's probably right as I never looked at the linesman or anything, just assumed he was off

If it wasn't offside then it's a shocker of a miss.
That's an open goal from 5 yards.
