Can't believe I'm saying this but we desperately need a striker before GMS, we've got no chance of promotion if we stick with what we have.

I wasn't always his biggest fan but if we had to go for a former player right now it'd have to be ciftci before GMS. Man could hold up the ball and find the net, something we're in desperate need of.

Maybe the penny's dropped that we have to aim to win this title.

Agree a striker should be the aim, but I wouldn't turn down GMS either. Not gonna happen right enough.

Think we were unlucky not to get GMS. He told his close mates he was on his way back during the relegation battle. Surprised this 2nd failure to bring him in was leaked to the local press as an exclusive.
Expect we will bring in an attacking type of player in the next 2 days but a tad worried that this is an attempt to look keen and in the market when its a no go fae the start.
RayMcK said yesterday he needs to speak to the board regarding bringing in a striker and I think that is mair to do with whats coming in in £££'s more than anything else I.e. how fast duds are off the books and how guarenteed incoming transfer fees are and when.
