Re: Utd v Raith - Saturday 27th August

Fucking déjà vu.

Brilliant first half then shocking second half. There has to be a reason for this?

Something mentally wrong with certain players, don't know if it's the switch off or tbey can't deal with the pressure but Ffs, we've been rotten in almost every second half we've played this season.

Why?

Cause they've got a goalscorer, we dont

Fair enough.

Sad times if us finishing 13th best team in Scotland seems unrealistic though.

Re: Utd v Raith - Saturday 27th August

I think we've still got a chance, but it's clear that their strength up front is going to be crucial.

Bear in mind Hibs have played four games against teams in the bottom half.

We've played three games against top half teams, including two of the three undefeated teams, and we've hammered the bottom team.

Long way to go, nothing will be decided on or before the 1st of October.

Hibs will hit a sticky spell, I've no doubt about that, we just need to get our arses into gear and start playing for a full 90 minutes.  Hopefully these two new defenders coming in will make a difference.

Re: Utd v Raith - Saturday 27th August

Watching these highlights, they didn't show the daft foul Toshney gave away in the lead up to the first, but Bell has to get distance on a punch out, and for the second, that big French CH got to wander through and freely pick out a player on the edge of our box.

That big centre half for them was a fucking donkey too.

Too much commotion

The standard of goal we concede is depressing as hell, always soft or avoidable.

I'm hoping Toshney gets an education from the new players , he's far too rash for my liking not to mention poor positional play.

Re: Utd v Raith - Saturday 27th August

Well we've just signed to CH's so he's staying at right back it seems, I don't rate Toshney at all as a fullback yet but like I said hopefully he'll get an education shortly.

I certainly would have given him a go at CH last few games.
