Am I correct in saying he scored the first ever goal in the revamped EPL?
He was definitely a player I enjoyed watching in the early days of BSkyB live games.
Love pacey, skillfull, direct players like that with a bit of the 'maverick' about them.

I think Brian Deane scored the first EPL goal when it was revamped, Teddy Sheringham scored the first goal that was televised live on Sky for that year too, but Dalian DID win the first ever MOTD goal of the season which started in that year also, the 1992/93 season 👍
