Was my 1st visit to Tannadice. 13th August 1966, with my old man and Granda, to see us play the Dees in the League Cup.
Know I'm not supposed to be near internet, media, part of the rules and regs of being on holiday with my charming missus, but couldna resist a sneaky-on while she's still in her kip, to share this with you guys.
Oh BTW, we beat the BNBs 2-0, thanks to goals from Orjan Persson, and my childhood hero Billy Hainey. Bizarrely, I think Jim McLean was playing that day.

Wow, that's great to hear Mr Hainey, what an adventure and story you must have seen throughout the years since, amazing!
Enjoy the rest of your holiday mate!

TBH Sieb, my memory's not that brilliant, but this game sticks out coz it was my 1st. From what I've been reading on Tekel Towers last night, we coulda done with Persson and Hainey yesterday.
