Surprised to see him on the bench on Tuesday, which might indicate Ray saw him as reliable cover.
Must surely be bringing someone in, in central defence in near future.

He was on the bench on Saturday as well. I think it was more for cover at left back than centre half. Hope the move goes well for him. He's tidy on the ball but his marking at set pieces leaves a lot to be desired. He's not really out of place on that one mind.
