Not surprised by the outcome although very surprised by the timing.

As others have said, Ray must have someone lined up today because if Murray gets injured we go with VDV up front against Partick.

As I've said on here, Ray doesn't believe that Anier offers value for money, he doesn't see him as his first choice striker and as one of the higher earners we can't justify him playing 10 minutes here and there.

I liked Anier personally, think he could have scored a lot of goals given a run of games in the championship.

Anier was offered to stay on a reduced wage and refused it. That's why he's away.

You can't go an entire season with just two forwards.

Obadayei can play up front as well as can VDV. The days of us carrying a massive first team squad are over. I can't see us bringing any more than one striker in.

I'd get rid of a centre half as well tbh if we can bring one in.

How the fuck in fucking fuck is it fair that a player with 2 bookings in the group stages is suspended now?

Celtic etc get a fucking bye to save them the hassle of the diddy cup then organise 8 million friendlies in it's place, then when they do join they're seeded.

Bookings should be scrapped after the groups, but perhaps sendings off should carry over.

Bag of shite.

And why the rush to play the league cup in usual pre-season time, forcing teams to start their season early, why the rush to have the final in November?

Why not spread it out a bit?

It isn't fair.

That along with the decision to bring the Welsh and Northern Irish teams in the rounds after the Scottish teams in the Challenge Cup just goes to show that the SPFL don't give a shit about the small and provincial clubs in this country.
