Dixon apparently still struggling and Fraser suspended. Not sure on Obadeyi's condition (fingers crossed).
I'd go with......
..............................Bell...................
Toshney...Donaldson..Durnan...Robson
................Murdoch....Flood......
..............VDV.......Smith.....Obadeyi
..........................Murray.....
Subs -
Zwick
Spittal
Dillon
Anier
Johnson
Telfer
Souttar
I think it will be a close contest. But I think we might just edge it 2-1.

At the moment the only question in the front 6 is what 2 from Fraser/Obadeyi and Smith, Spittals been way off it since the summer and Anier/Johnson/Telfer aren't gonna start. still think we need someone in over Murray tho.
The back 4 is a different matter, you could make an argument for 5 or 6 different combinations.
3 points a must, Don't think QOTS will be as good as they have been in recent seasons and we cannot drop points against them if we're going to win the league.

Didn't know Fraser was suspended, with that in mind I think it will be the team you've put TEK.
Will be a tough game, noticed Queens signed Stephen Dobbie today but don't know if he is in contention for Saturday.
Really looking forward to this, think we'll win 3-1.

No matter what combination of the possibilities we put into central defence, I've little confidence of keeping a clean sheet against any team.

Hey Gordon - long long time since ive been around. agree with selection VDV central and smith wider though. CB a major issue and the dutch lad on trial could help but apparently is a left back mainly so with Dickers injured may play there. Rather give Robson the gig. Im going up on Glasgow bus as want a wee swally - you?
Hi mate,how ye keeping?

Not too happy about the three Ds, but the others look promising.
Pretty horrible first half - never going and the usual defensive slackness
Hope for better second half but tbh no great expectations

Fucking awful stuff.

Defence getting deserved pelters, but we have created nothing. Obadeyi could be good but he's a lazy cunt of a player, Murray can't create space, VDV and Smith tidy but ineffective actually going forward. Time for Ray to earn his cash for the week.

Poor result.

I hope ray drums it into squad that today was an embarrassing result we need to have the mindset that a draw at home in this awful league is embarrassing

Outnumbered, outmuscled and outfought the whole first half even if their goal was handball in the build up to it. Great goal for us but piss poor final balls otherwise. They were out on their feet after an hour too but we couldn't take advantage. Find it strange that Durnan and Donaldson are getting stick on Twitter. They were far from the root of our problems today. Our midfield was ponderous, Obadayei's final ball is fucking stinking and Murray did absolutely nothing yet again.
Reality bites.

Agree that the defence wasn't today's biggest issue LAO, it's still an issue tho. 1st half was abysmal all round, 2nd half for 15mins around the goal we looked good.
VDV and Smith are gonna be massively crucial for us, Smith has to be central with VDV wider tho.
Obadeyi is lazy and final ball poor, Murray just isn't good enough, Johnson has no end product. Anier isn't a penalty box striker, he pulls out of the box constantly. We need a proper striker, biggest priority for me.
Still need a CH too tho.

1st half was phuckin dire. Out defense is a shambles. Dillon and Durnan shoulda had that ball cleared, but no gave QOS a 2nd chance on the goal which they took. Mark Millar scoring for them was another kick in the teeth. Mibbee no chunt will agree but, another phuck-up whichever way you look at it.
It's hard to believe you were watching the same team as the last 3 weeks, albeit Fraser and Toshney were missing.
Far too many backpasses for me. A real pet hate of mine. I'd lost count the number we had. Murraymints was very isolated, and just didna seem to be getting a lot of the ball. Ray was right to sub him, coz he was gonna end up getting sent of, after getting Yellow carded and making reguler complaints to the Ref.
2nd half better. They definitely improved after Van the Man scored the equalizer, and what a goal it was.
Dallas was totally p1sh. Totally inconsistent. Example. Obadeyi is tackled by a QOS player, and the ball goes out of play. I thought it was a foul and a free-kick for us. But no, Dallas gives a throw in. OK then, if it wasna a foul, then the QOS player must have played the ball, and the ball has therefore been put out of play by the QOS player, But no, Dallas awards the throw-in to QOS.
In the end a probable fair result, but in this league, we simple can;t afford to be dropping points at home.
MOTM for me Cammy Smith, Robson. Justin was excellent when he came on. if it isna onward and upwards, we could be truly in the sh1t.

The harsh reality of this league is you need to win virtually every week if you want to be champions. Don't see us doing that at the moment.
Baldy needs to put his hand in his pocket. He'll lose a lot more if we stay down.

Billy, Justin was as pish as most when he came on (in my opinion), just not as pish as some.
Great skill for the equaliser, but just as QoS were out on their feet, and that might explain part of why Smith began to look good, VdV going off left us lacking. Again, imo, Tope put some decent balls into the box, and Marcus Haber might have even scored.
But we had nobody committed to getting into the edge of the six yard box.
Daft folk booing the team off at ht probably did little to improve the fragile confidences of some players, some of them experiencing the moaning bastards for the first time.
Generally, I hope that is the worst performance of the season.

You, should have sat where I was today, the best advert for keeping woman away from football was sat right behind me. It's bad enough being a gadgie loudmouth idiot, but when u add in shit jokes and a complete lack of understanding about the laws of the game and how the game is played, not a pleasant 90 minutes listening to it.

Heard Van Der Velden's goal was an absolute peach! Can't wait to see it.
Bad result though but after listening to most of the first half working I was just relieved when I caught up with the final score.
Decent crowd and heard the goal was well celebrated and support vocal for Tannadice.
I've been expecting a dunt after the improved feeling and worried this might be it.
Edit to say, goal is on Azone now.
Kind of unique goal. Surely that helps him settle in.

When the formation is 4-3-2-1 the one has to be a focal point for the team. Murray does not have the attributes required for the lone striker role, he likes to run on to the ball, not hold it up. This has to be the main issue for McKinnon to sort. M.o.m. Durnan
